NYX Mosaic Powder

Angefangen hat es mit dem Mosaic Powder von NYX in der Farbe Dare. Diese hat es mir so sehr angetan, dass bald darauf die Farben Peachy und Spice folgten.

Die Produkte beinhalten jeweils 5 verschiedene Farben, man kann sie als Blush, Lidschatten, Bronzer oder Highlighter benutzen. Wofür man das Puder anwendet, hängt stark von der Farbwahl ab.

Die Verpackung erinnert mich stark an Mac Blush. Ich habe meine Mosaic Powders über Ebay gekauft, hier kriegt man sie für um die $8 (ca. 6€) inklusive Porto. Man erhält dafür 5,7g Puder, das einem vermutlich ewig hält. Die Verpackung scheint etwas anfällig zu sein, von den 3 bestellten Mosaic Powders sind bei mir, trotz guter Verpackung, 2 mit herausgebrochenem Plastikteil im Deckel angekommen. Dies ist ärgerlich, lässt ich aber mit etwas Sekundenkleber wieder reparieren. Wie ihr oben im Bild sehen könnt, habe ich bei Dare nicht richtig aufgepasst und den Deckel falsch rum angeklebt...

It all began with the NYX mosaic powder in Dare. I really really liked it and so I ended up with the mosaic powder in two more colors: Spice and Peachy.

The powders contain 5 different shades of color. You can either use them separately or swirl them together. Depending on your color choice they can be used as an eyeshadow, blush, bronzer or highlighter. The packaging reminds me a lot of Mac blushes. Since Nyx is not really sold in Germany I ordered mine from Ebay.com. Even though the Powders were packed carefully 2 out of 3 arrived with the transparent plastic part of the lid being broken. Since I was able to glue the parts back together it was not such a big problem. As you can tell from the picture above I didn't really pay to much attention when I repaired the lid from the powder Dare- The lid is glued on upside-down...

Dare:

Dare ist für mich ein schöner frischer leicht schimmernder Blush in Peachy-Pink. Wenn man nur einen Hauch Produkt verwendet, kann man den Blush ähnlich wie einen Highlighter verwenden um einen leichten Glow zu bekommen. Trägt man das Produkt etwas stärker auf, so kommt die Peachy-Pinke Farbe zum Vorschein. Dieses Puder würde ich nicht als Lidschatten verwenden, da die Farben für meinen Geschmack zu Pink für das Auge sind.

Dare is a really nice fresh slightly shimmery peachy-pink blush. If you only apply a tiny bit of product the powder actes as a highlighter and you achieve a pretty glow. When you pack on more color you can build the powder to a pretty peachy-pink blush. I like this color a lot!

Spice:

Spice ist ein Mauveton. Im Gegensatz zu Dare ist dieses Puder eher matt. Man muss deshalb beim Auftragen darauf achten, dass man überschüssiges Produkt vom Pinsel klopft, sonst kann Spice (ähnlich wie bei den NYX Blushes-Nur nicht so schlimm) etwas chalky wirken.

Spice is a more mauvy-pink tone. In comparison to Dare it is a matt powder. If you put a lot of product on you brush you have to make sure to tap of any excess powder otherwise it might end up looking a bit chalky.

Peachy:

Peachy ist etwas weniger pink als Dare und geht leicht in die bräunliche Richtung. Bei Peachy verhält es sich ebenso wie bei Spice, das Produkt ist eher matt und man muss deshalb beim Auftragen etwas aufpassen.

Peachy is a little less pink than Dare and a slightly more brownish peach color. Peachy acts like Spice. It's rather matte and you have to be a little bit more careful when you apply a lot of product.

Fazit:

Ich bin ziemlich begeistert von dem Mosaic Powder. Es ist nicht nur optisch schön, sondern auch von der Qualität her gut. Die Farben sind sehr gelungen.

I overall like the mosaic powders a lot. They are not only pretty to look at but also have a rather good quality. Also the colors are really pretty.
