Jemma Kidd Catwalk I-Kit

In letzter Zeit hat es mir die Marke Jemma Kidd angetan.Ich habe euch bereits die JK Make up School Essentials Palette vorgestellt, mit der ich immer noch sehr zufrieden bin. Mittlerweile durfte auch die Catwalk I-Kit Palette bei mir einziehen. Ich muss sagen, dass ich die Lidschatten in dieser Palette noch lieber mag als die in der Make up School Essentials Palette. Enthalten sind wie auch bei der anderen Palette 6 Lidschatten. Anstatt Lipgloss und Creme Rouge (den ich super gerne benutze), gibt es in dieser Palette zwei Highlight noch zwei zusätzliche Highlighter Lidschatten sowie eine eine Prep and Prime Base (cremig).

I have really gotten into Jemma Kidd cosmetic lately. I already showed you their JK Make up School Essentials Palette. I still really like this palette. By now I also have their Catwalk I-Kit palette and I have to say I like it even more :) Is has more shimmy shades and then the other palette and I have gotten to love their shimmy eyeshadows. This palette contains again 6 eyeshadows. Instead of the lipgloss and the cream blush (which I really enjoy) this palette contains 2 more eyeshadows which are for highlighting and a creamy eyeshadow pre and prime base.

Die Base ist Hautfarben und ebnet dadurch die Farbe des Lids gut aus. Ohne meine Urban Decay Primer Potion würde die diese Base jedoch nicht verwenden. Ansonsten mag ich die Base jedoch sehr gerne sie ist schön cremig, was natürlich die Ursache dafür ist, dass sie ohne UDPP nicht so gut hält, aber zum ausgleichen finde ich sie toll. Leider muss man bei der Palette gut aufpassen, dass keine kleinen Lidschattenkrümelchen die Cremige Base beschmutzen. Das Problem hatte ich bei der anderen Palette und dem Cremerouge komischerweise nicht.

Die zwei Highlighter Lidschatten mag ich eigentlich nur den rechten, eher goldenen Ton. Der linke Ton hat meiner Meinung nach eine schlechtere Qualität da eher für meinen Geschmack zu grob ist. Es sind zwar Highlighter Lidschatten, man kann sie jedoch auch im Gesicht zum betonen der Wangenknochen benutzen.

The base is nice to even out your eyelid. It is extremly creamy which makes it easy to blend but it also does not last that well thus I use my UDPP underneath. But then I am perfectly happy with it. Another thing you have to be aware of is that little eyeshadow fallout can get into the creamy base and make it not useable. I did not have this problem with the cream blush in the other palette however.

Out if the two highlighting eyeshadows I only like the right more golden shade. The other one is not fine enough for my taste. The highlighting eyeshadows can also be used to highlight cheekbones etc.

Kommen wir zu den Lidschatten. Enthalten sind 3 schöne frostige bzw. satin sheen Lidschatten (editior, Vintage und In Season) sowie zwei matte Lidschatten Vanity Fair und der schwarze Liner Lidschatten). Die letzte Farbe ist matt mit Schimmer drin (Aubergine Shimmer).

Die schimmernden Lidschatten von JK haben eine traumhafte Qualität und die Farbauswahl in dieser Palette gefällt mir sehr gut. Die Taupefarbe Editor gefällt mir besser als MACs Satin Taupe und auch der leicht bronzefarbene Vintage und der goldenen In Season sind wirklich toll. Diese Lidschatten würde ich mir auch einzeln nachkaufen. Die matten Lidschatten von JK sind so mittelmäßig, eigentlich nichts besonderes. Sie haben keine so tolle Deckkraft und sind typisch für matte Lidschatten etwas schwierig zu verarbeiten. Bei matten Lidschatten bleibe ich da lieber bei Urban Decay. Bei dem helleren Braunton fällt die Problematik noch nicht so sehr auf, aber insb. die dunkleren Farben sind wirklich nur als Liner zum versmoken (neue Wortschöpfung) geeignet. Ich persönlich kann damit gut leben, weil ich sehr selten so dunkle Lidschatten für mein AMU verwende sondern wirklich eher zum linen verwende.

The palette contain 3 frosty /satin sheen eyeshadows (editior, Vintage und In Season) as well as two matte shadows (Vanity Fair and a black liner shadow). And a matte color with shimmer in it (Aubergine Shimmer).

I really love the shimmery shades from JK they are super soft easy to work with a pigmented. I also like the color selection in this palette. The taupy shade (editor) I like over Mac's Satin taupe. Also the other shades the more bronzy vintage and the golden in season shade are stunning. I would get them individually if I ever ran out. The matte shades however are not all that great more like average. They are not that pigmented und not that nice to work with. I really should stay with Urban Decay's shadows when it comes to matte ones. With the lighter brownish shade it is not all that bad but the two darker shades are really not that great. They are mainly useable to line your eyes and smoke that out. Which to be honest is ok for my just because I don't tend to use that dark shades for my eyemakeup and if I do I blend dem out so well it doesn't matter that they are not that pigmented. But everyone expecting a nice matte shadow quality will be disappointed. However in my opinion the other products in this palette make up for it. :)
