Sally Hansen Gray by Gray

Neues Mitglied in meiner Nagellackkollektion ist der Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in der Farbe Gray by Gray (350). Der Nagellack ist kein klassisches grau sondern eher ein blau grau. Ich finde die Farbe toll für den Herbst und vor allem passt sie super zu so ziemlich jedem Jeansoutfit.

Etwas irritiert war ich zunächst von dem für meinen Geschmack ziemlich ungewöhnlichen Nagellackpinsel. Er ist auf der einen Seite ganz flach und erinnert von der Form her irgendwie an einen Lippenpinsel. Wer mit Sally Hansen Nagellack vertraut ist, ist sicherlich auch schon an diese Form gewohnt, für mich war es jedoch der erste Sally Hansen Nagellack. Der Pinsel ist beim Auftragen auch kein großes Hindernis gewesen. Der Nagellack ist leicht aufzutragen, die Konsistenz ist gut zu handhaben.

The newest member in my nail polish collection is tha Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Gray by Gray (350). The color is not a typical gray but more of a blue gray. It is a great color for fall but it is actually perfect for any jeans type of outfit. I was a bit surprised by the nail polish brush as I am not used to a flat brush like this. (As some may be able to tell this is my first Sally Hansen nail polish.)

But I didn't really had any difficulties with this new kind of brush. Overall I really like the nail polish. It has a good quality and I love to color!

Black Pencil Eyel Liner Comparison

Heute gibt es mal einen kleinen Kajal Vergleich. Vergleichen möchte ich den schwarzen Eye liner von Artdeco(5,80€), den 24/7 Glide-on eye pencil von Urban Decay in Zero ($17 ca. 12€)und den Kajal eye liner von Stila in Onyx ($18 ca. 12,80€).

Davon abgesehen, dass alle drei schwarze Kajals sind, haben sie noch die Gemeinsamkeit, dass sie alle drei sehr cremig sind. Mit Cremig meine ich, dass sie so weich und cremig sind, dass man in der Regel keine richtig dünne Linie damit hin bekommt, sondern eher eine etwas Breitere, die sich dann jedoch leicht zum Smokey Eye Look verwischen lässt.

Wie ihr auf dem Bild sehen könnt, liefert der Stila Kajal das farbintensivste Schwarz, das mit dem Gloss ähnlichen Finish schon hast an Liquid Liner erinnert. Der Kajal von Urban Decay hat ein weit weniger intensives Farbergebnis und ist dicht gefolgt vom Artdeco Kajal. Von der Haltbarkeit liegt meiner Meinung nach der Urban Decay Liner vorne. Für die Wasserlinie(?) (waterline) ist jedoch der Stila Kajal der absolute Gewinner was die Haltbarkeit betrifft.

Fazit:

Mein Favorit ist der Stila.
Vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat definitiv der Artdeco gewonnen.
Den Kajal von Urban Decay finde ich zwar gut, der sehr geringe Qualitätsvorsprung gegenüber dem Artdeco rechtfertigt jedoch nicht den doppelt so hohen Preis von Urban Decay.
Wenn es ein teurer Kajal sein soll, dann doch lieber der von Stila.


Today I am going to compare 3 black pencil eye liners: The 24/7 glide-on eye pencil from Urban Decay in Zero ($17), the Kajal eye liner from Stila in Onyx ($18) and the Artdeco kajal eye pencil is black ($8). All three pencil eye liners are extremly creamy and smooth. Because of that however it is almost not possible to draw a precise line.
The Stila product is the most intense black eye pencil. Because of it's almost glossy look it reminds me a lot of liquid liner. The Urban Decay liner is a lot less intense and closely followed by the Artdeco eye pencil. The Urban Decay pencil has the best staying power out of the three. However the Stila eye pencil is by far the best for the use at the waterline. It is the only eye pencil I know that will stay on the waterline all day long.



Conclusion:

The Stila eye pencil is my favorit.
The Artdeco pencil liner has the best cost/performance ratio.
Even though I do like the Urban Decay pencil it's quality is only a little better than the Artdeco pencil liner and which doesn't justify twice the price.
If it has to be a more expensive pencil liner it should rather be the Stila one.

P2 Ready to Wear

Ich habe vor ein paar Tagen die neue Ready to wear LE von P2 im DM Markt gesichtet. Aus der Kollektion habe ich mich spontan für den hellen Nagellack (Creme Velvet) sowie den Perfect Look Blush entschieden. Aus meiner Sicht waren ebenfalls noch der braune Nagellack (Brown Chiffon) sowie der braune Gloss (Brown Melange). Die Lidschatten sahen irgendwie nach nix aus. Gel eyeliner hat man ja irgendwie jetzt auch schon welche. Der Rest hat mich farblich nicht wirklich beeindruckt.

Our drugstore brand P2 has a new LE called "Ready to wear". I purchased a nail polish called (Creme Velver) as well as a multi colored blush (perfect look blush). Aside from that I also liked the brown nail polish called brown chiffon and the brown lipgloss (Brown Melange). Might go back to have another look at those ;)

Ich mag im Allgemeinen multi color blush, bei dem man je nach Look die Farbe leicht variieren kann. Auch das Design mit dem Reißverschluss ist irgendwie süß. Die Farbauswahl finde ich wenig herbstlich, spricht mich persönlich aber dennoch an, weil ich ein absoluter peachy pink Fan bin, wenn es um Blush geht. Die Konsistenz vom Blush ist leicht krümmlig, die Prägung wird vermutlich schon nach wenigen Anwendungen nicht mehr zu erkennen sein. Die ganz linke und rechte Farbe ist leicht schimmernd, die Mittlere ist matt. Die Farben sehen sowohl einzeln als auch zusammen toll aus. Leider ist die mittlere Farbe nur so schmal, dass man sie als Blush mit einem breiten Pinsel nicht alleine auftragen kann.

I like multi colored blushes in general. The zipper embossing is a cute idea too. The particular color choice however reminds me more of spring and summer instead of fall. I still love the colors because I mainly wear peachy / pink blush all year arround. The consistency is a bit crumblybut for about $5 this is not so bad. The blush is easy to apply (it blends nicely) and it has a rather good pigmentation. The first and the last color are a bit shimmery and the middle one is matte. The colors look pretty by themselves or all swirled together. Only downside is that the middle color is so narrow that it is almost impossible to use it individually as a blush.

Der Nagellack hat eine super schöne Farbe. Für einen so hellen Farbton ist bereits eine Schicht überraschend deckend, jedoch noch etwas streifig. Eine zweite Schicht macht es dann jedoch perfekt. Bei mir ist der Nagellack leider schon etwas verkratzt, da ich mit nicht 100%ig trockenem Lack schlafen gegangen bin. Das Ergebis am nächsten Tag ist dann unweigerlich etwas verkratz. :(

The nail polish in creme velvet is a very pretty nude/pink color. You need two coats. In the picture mine looks already a bit scratched because I didn't let it dry 100% and went to bed with it. :(

KIKO

Ich war neulich zum ersten Mal in einem KIKO Store. Für diejenigen, die bisher noch nichts von KIKO gehört haben. Es ist eine italienische Make-up Marke, die mittlerweile auch den Weg nach Deutschland und Spanien gefunden hat. Bisher gibt es in Deutschland rund 8 Filialen, eine davon ist zum Glück halbwegs in meiner Nähe. :)

Die Filialen erinnern irgendwie ein wenig an Mac Stores. Preislich liegen die Produkte jedoch deutlich unter denen von Mac. Da ich bisher noch keine Produkte von KIKO probiert habe, habe ich mich nach laaaangem stöbern und ausprobieren auch für das ein oder andere Produkt entschieden...

I recently went to a KIKO store for the first time. KIKO is an Italien make-up brand that opened stores in Germany as well as in Spain. The store kind of reminded me of Mac stores just with a lot less expensive prices ;) I had never tried anything from KIKO and that's why I ended up with a couple of their products...

Vibrant Eye Pencil in 603 ein super schönes leicht metallisch schimmerndes Schokobraun. Auf der anderen Seite des Stifts befindet sich noch ein Smudger. Der Stift ist sehr weich und cremig. Man kriegt daher jedoch keine dünne Linie damit hin, er lässt sich aber leicht versmudgen also eher etwas für ein Smokey Eye bzw. wer auf breite Lidstriche steht. Der Vibrant Eye Pencil ist übrigens Made in Germany ;)

The Vibrant Eye Pencil in 603 is a very pretty metallic chocolate brown. The pencil is super soft and creamy. That's why it is almost impossible to make a thin line with it. But it is very easy to smudge and thus perfect for a smokey eye or everybody who doesn't mind thicker lines. Even thought the brand is Italien the eye pencil is made in Germany :)

Der Lidschatten in der Farbe 121. Die Farbe ein mattes grau/taupe. Die Farbe an sich ist sehr hell um ein so "intensives" Ergebnis wie auf dem Swatch zu erhalten, muss man schon ein paar mal drüber gehen. Da ich einen hellen Hauttyp habe, werde ich jedoch vermutlich keine Probleme damit haben. Ein schöner Lidschatten für jeden Tag, der nach was aussieht ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken.

I also got myself the eyeshadow in 121 which is a matte grey/taupe. The color is rather light that's why you have to build it up before it looks as "intense" as in the swatch picture. Since I am rather pale I don't mind the color to be that light. It is a nice eye shadow for a simple everyday look, but if you build it up like I did in the swatch it would also work for a more dramatic look.

Außerdem durften noch zwei Blushes mit. Der linke hat die Nummer 102, bei dem rechten weiß ich die Nummer nicht mehr, er war für eine Freundin bestimmt. Beide Blushes sind matt, recht gut pigmentiert und lassen sich gut verteilen.

Other than that I also bought 2 blushes. The left one has the no. 102 the right one was for a friend of mine that's why I don't have the number anymore. The blushes are matte and pretty good pigmented as well as easy to blend.

Außerdem durfte noch mit der Pencil Lipgloss in der Farbe 80. Der Glossstift lässt sich leicht auftragen und ist schön cremig ohne zu kleben. Die Farbe ist ein leicht bräunliches nude. Gefällt mir sehr gut! :)

Next comes the Pencil Lipgloss in 80. It is a Glosspencil that's very easy to apply. It has a creamy consistency is non sticky and doesn't dry out my lips. The color is a brownish nude. I like it a lot !

Zu guter Letzt durfte noch der Cream Infusion Stylo mit. Dieser ist jedoch schon seit einiger Zeit in meinem Bermuda Taschendreieck verschwunden. Da ich ihn bisher erst einmal benutzt habe und seither vermisse, konnte ich mir noch keine richtige Meinung darüber bilden.

Last but not least comes the Cream Indusion Stylo. Unfortunately this one got lost in my purse Bermuda-Triangle :( I only used it once and since than can't find it anymore. I didn't really had the chance to make up my mind about this product...

Essie Chinchilly

Der Essie Nagellack in Chinchilly steht bei mir zur Zeit auch ganz weit oben bei den Lieblingsnagellackfarben. Ich habe ihn schon eine Weile und bin immer noch ziemlich begeistert davon. Die Farbe ist ein braun/taupe/grau passt für meinen Geschmack auch schön in die Herbstzeit.

Chinchilly is still one of my favorite nailpolish colors. I have had it for a while now and still like it like at the very beginning. It is a pretty brown/taupe/grey that seems to perfectly fit into the current fall season.

Urban Decay Show Pony Palette

Paletten sind aus meiner Sicht immer eine schöne und zumeist auch preiswertere Möglichkeit gleichzeitig mehrere Produkte einer Marke kennen zu lernen. In der Show Pony Palette sind 6 Lidschatten und ein 24/7 Eye pencil in schwarz enthalten. Eigentlich kommt die Palette noch mit einer Minigröße der Primer Potion, bei www.love-makeup.co.uk, wo ich diese Palette für 12,99 Pounds zuzüglich Porto recht günstig erworben habe, war die Mini Primer Potion nicht dabei. Da ich bereits die Originalgröße habe, fand ich das nicht weiter schlimm. Die Palette geht in den USA regulär für $30 über die Ladentheke.

Die Lidschatten sind wie man es nicht anders von Urban Decay gewohnt ist sehr pigmentiert und sehr schimmernd, wobei jedoch lediglich die erste Farbe (Snatch) grobe Glitzerpartikel enthält. Deshalb muss man hier darauf achten, dass man den Pinsel vor dem Auftragen etwas abklopft, damit man nachher keinen groben Glitzer auf der Wange hat. Die Swatches geben die einzelnen Farben sehr gut wieder. Mir gefällt die Farbauswahl sehr gut. :)

Palettes are a nice way to get to try new / different products. I got the Show Pony Palette from Urban Decay including 6 eye shadows a 24/7 eye liner and usually a mini primer potion. Because I bought my palette from a website called www.love-makeup.co.uk where it was quite a bit cheaper mine didn't come with the primer potion. Since I already have the full size primer potion that was not a big deal for me. I payed 12.99 Pounds ($20.70) instead of $30 which is a nice deal.

The eye shadows are like usual very pigmented and rather shimmery. Only the first Shadows Snatch contains big pieces of glitter. I always tap off the brush before I apply this eyeshadow so I don't have any fallout.

The swatches show the different colors pretty accurate. I like the selection of colors as well as the quality.

My Mac Blushes

Ich besitze zur Zeit 5 Blushes von Mac, diese sind der Reihe nach Springsheen, Blushbaby, Cubic, Dame und Well Dresed. Wie man an der Auswahl erkennen kann mag ich vor allem Blush in Koralltönen, natürlichen Tönen und Pinktönen.

Springsheen (Sheertone shimmer) ist ein toller Sommerblush. Er ist Korall und hat einen schönen goldenen Schimmer. Blushbaby (Sheertone) und Cubic (Matt) sind für mich zwei sehr natürliche Farben, die zu jeder Jahreszeit gut aussehen. Blushbaby ist dabei definitiv der farbintensivere im Vergleich zu Cubic. Cubic ist eher hell und geht ins Bräunliche. Dame (Satin) und Well Dressed (Satin) sind sich ebenfalls ähnlich, wobei hier Dame der farbintensivere von beiden Blushes ist. Dame ist ein pink/rosé mit blauem Schimmer. Well Dressed ist ein helles rosa.

Ich mag die Blushes von Mac sehr gerne und bin mit meiner Farbauswahl ganz zufrieden.

Welche Blushes von Mac habt ihr?

I own 5 blushes form Mac. As you can tell form the picture I am a lot in to pink, natural and coral blushes. I own Springsheen (sheertone shimmer), Blushbaby (Sheertone), Cubic (Matte), Dame and Well dressed (both satin).

Springsheen is a really pretty summer blush it is coral with a gold sheen.

Blushbaby and Cubic are both rather natural blush colors to me. Blushbaby is more color intense than Cubic and Cubic is more own the brownish side than Blushbaby.

Well Dressed and Dame are both pink shades. Dame is a rosé with a lot of blue in it. Well Dressed is just a really nice light pink.

I am very satisfied with the Mac blushes in general and like the color selection I have so far.
