Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner

Nachdem ich euch hier meine Lieblinge von Michael Todd vorgestellt habe, möchte ich euch heute auch meine Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner von Benefit vorstellen.

Von der Qualität her stehen sich die beiden Produkte in nichts nach. Beide sind für mich gleich gut und vor allem halten sie im Gegensatz zu sehr vielen Cremelidschattenprodukten das was sie versprechen, nämlich Haltbarkeit und kein Absetzen in der Lidfalte!

Ich habe die Farben Sippin'n Dippin, Carte Blanche und Birthday Suit.

Sippin'n Dippin ist ein intensiver Peach-/Goldton, den ich erst seit kurzem habe. Ich kann ihn mir toll für den Sommer vorstellen.

Carte Blanche ist ein warmer schimmernder Braunton.

Birthday Suit ist ein Champagnerton. Von Birthday suit habe ich nur eine Deluxe Sample, also nicht die Originalgröße, die ist aber auch ausreichend und wird mir noch eine ganze Weile ausreichen...

After I have showed you my Cream Shadows from Michael Todd here, I now want to show you my Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liners. I think they are both equal in quality and most important they are 2 Cream Shadow/Liner products out of a million that actually live up to their promise. They both last really well and don't crease.

I own the Benefit Creaseless Cream's in Sippin'n Dippin, Carte Blanche and Birthday Suit.

Sippin'n Dippin is a peach/gold color that can look orangy. I am not a big orange fan, but I thing this color will look nice in summer. (It's my most recent purchase).

Carte Blanche is a warm shimmery medium brown. I like to use this one as a base a lot.

Birthday Suit is a champage color. I only have it in a deluxe sample size and not the fullsize, but that will still last me quite a bit.

Der Vollständigkeit halber möchte ich euch auch noch meinen letzten Favoriten in Sachen Creme Shadow/Liner vorstellen. Er ist von Smashbox und zwar die Farbe Fan Club.

Es ist für mich das perfekte Taupe (Braun/Grau) und eine tolle Alternative zu Benefit's Skinny Jeans, das einen Hauch mehr silver/grau ist als Smashbox's Fan Club.

For the sake of completeness I also want to show you another of my favorite Creme Shadow/Liner products. It's from Smashbox and it's the color Fan Club.

It is the perfect taupy brown/grey mixture and a great alternative to Benefit's Skinny Jeans which is slightly more silver/grey than Smashbox's Fan Club.

Der Nail Designer

Kennt ihr schon den Nail Designer?

Eine wirklich geniale Idee. Auf der Homepage kann man sich seine eigenen Nagelfolien gestalten.

Hierzu gibt es eine Vielzahl von Möglichkeiten.

Zunächst kann man eine Grundierung auswählen, ob Uni, Animalprint oder Blumenmuster etc. hier ist für jeden was dabei...

Darüberhinaus hat man die Möglichkeit die Nagellackfolien mit kleinen Icons (hier gibt es ebenfalls eine große Auswahl zu den verschiedensten Themen) zu verzieren.

Man kann die Folien ebenfalls mit einem selbst gewählten Text bereichern. Hierbei kann man sich die Farbe, Schriftart und Größe aussuchen.

Als wenn das nicht schon genug wär....man kann sich sogar eigene Bilder hochladen und damit die Nagelfolien verschönern.

Bestimmt nicht für jeden Tag, aber eine geniale Idee! Toll als persönliches Geschenk oder zum selbst tragen zu besonderen Anlässen.

Man bekommt 30 Folien in verschiedenen Größen/Längen, Kostenpunkt sind 6,90€.

Den Preis finde ich durchaus angemessen. Tolle Idee, werde ich demnächst mal testen.

With the Nail Designer you can design your own nail stickers.

You have various options to design them.

You can choose a background they have lots of differnt ones only one color, multiple colors, animalprint, flowerdesign.....

You can also place little elements/icons on your nail stickers. Again they have a great selection of little icons to all kinds of topics.

Other than that you can also write a little text you can put on your nail stickers, like a name or just a word or a phrase.

Another amazing option is that you can even upload your own pictures / images to decorate your nail stickers with.

A great idea! Not for everyday, but definitely something for special occasions or a personalized gift for a good friend. You get 30 stickers in different sizes. You pay 6,90€ which is a reasonable price I'd say.

Catrice Mona Lisa Is Staring Back

So, gester habe ich das neue Catrice Sortiment gesichtet :D

Neben dem Mona Lisa Is Staring Back Nagellack durfte bisher auch der Sir! Yes, Sir! Nagellack mit sowie die Lashes to Kill Mascara.

Der Nagellack Mona Lisa Is Staring Back durfte als erstes drauf. Es ist ein schöner Cremeton mit dezentem Gold-Perlmutt Effekt. Mir gefällt der Lack sehr gut. Er ist alltagstauglich und macht dennoch was her.

Auf dem Bild trage ich 2 Schichten, eine dritte hätte es auch noch sein können, denn nach 2 Schichten deckt der Lack noch nicht vollständig. Ich hatte jedoch bedenken, dass der Lack bei 3 Schichten zu weißlich wirkt...bei Gelegenheit probier ich es mal mit 3 Schichten aus.

Wirklich positiv überrascht war ich davon wie schnell der Lack getrocknet war!

An dieser Stelle muss ich einfach mal ein Lob aussprechen.

Catrice hat sich ganz schön gemacht in den letzten Jahren! Viele der Produkte können mittlerweile problemlos mit der High-End-Konkurrenz mithalten! Weiter so! :)

I spotted the new Catrice products yesterday. So far I bought 2 nail polishes (Mona Lisa Is Staring Back and Sir! Yes, Sir!) and a Mascara (Lashes to Kill)

The Mona Lisa Is Staring Back nail polish was the first one I applied. It is a really nice cream color with a gold pearly effect. It is a very pretty color which is suitable for daytime / work but still looks very interesting.

I applied 2 coats even though I could have applied a third. 2 coats are not completely opaque but I was affraid the polish would look too light/white if I apply another coat.

I was positively surprised at how fast the polish tried.

I really have to say that the brand Catrice has become better and better. I think that a lot of their products are comparable to high-end products. Great job! :)

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick

Die Revlon Colorburst Lippenstifte sind dafür bekannt, dass sie eine sehr hohe Deckkraft haben.

Sie sind zudem schön cremig und auch von außen nett anzusehen. Praktisch finde ich an der Verpackung auch, dass der Deckel in der entsprechenden Lippenstiftfarbe markiert ist, so findet man schneller, was man sucht :)

Meine Revlon Colorburst Farben sind...

Soft Nude ein peachiger Nudeton.

Blush, eine tolle Alltagsfarbe, die die natürliche Lippenfarbe dezent unterstreicht

Rosy Nude eine etwas dunklere und farbintensivere Version von Rosy Nude, bei meinem hellen Teint schon eher was für Abends.

Mein Favorit ist ganz eindeutig die Farbe Blush.

Habt ihr Colorburst Lippenstifte von Revlon? Wie findet ihr sie?

Colorburst lipsticks are known for their great pigmentation. They are creamy in texture and I really like their packaging. In particular I enjoy that the top of the lipstick tube is colored in the lipstick color :)

I own the following colors:

Soft nude a peachy nude tone

Blush (My favorite) a really nice daytime lipstick which accentuates the natural lipcolor

Rosy Nude is a deeper version of Blush and with my fair complexion I tend to use it more at night.

Micheal Todd Long Wear Creme Shadow

Zur Zeit benutze ich sehr gerne Creme Lidschatten. Sie sind toll als Base oder auch solo als Lidschatten. Bisher habe ich die besten Erfahrungen bezüglich der Haltbarkeit mit den Creaseless Creams von Benefit und den Long Wear Creme Shadows von Michael Todd gemacht.

Hier, habe ich euch schon mal die Illuminance Creme Eye Shadows von Revlon vorgestellt. Ich mag sie immer gerne, von der Haltbarkeit, sind sie jedoch nicht mit den Produkte von Benefit oder Michael Todd zu vergleichen.

Ich habe die Long Wear Creme Shadows von Micheal Todd in den Farben Nude, Flutter und Second Chance.

Nude ist ein matter Ton, der ideal ist um das Lid zu grundieren und feine Äderchen etc. abzudecken.

Flutter ist ein schimmernder Champagnerton, den ich auch gerne mal solo trage.

Second Chance ist die einzigartigste Farbe, die ich besitze. Sie hat sehr große Ähnlichkeit mit Vex von Mac. Leider können die Bilder die Farbe nicht in Ihrer Vielseitigkeit wiedergeben. Es ist ein beige-grau mit Rosé Schimmer, den Schimmer kann man nur leider auf dem Bild nicht gut sehen.

Die Long Wear Creme Shadows von Michael Todd beinhalten ebenso, wie die Creaseless Creams von Benefit 4,5 g. Die Version von Benefit kostet in Deutschland 19€ (in den USA $19).

Die Creme Lidschatten von Michael Todd kosten 23$, das Porto ist frei, also ca. 17€.

Bei Allcosmeticswholesale, bekommt man das Michael Todd Produkt schon für ca. $18 (inkl. Porto).

I currently really like to use cream eye shadows. I either use them as a base or on their own. So far I had the best experiences with the Creaseless Creams from Benefit and the Long Wear Creme Shadows from Michael Todd. They last all day without creasing.

Here, I talked about the Illuminance Creme Eye Shadows from Revlon which I do like but they don't last nearly as well as the Creme Eye Shadows from Benefit or Michael Todd.

I own the Long wear creme shadows from Michael Todd in three different shades: Nude, Flutter and Second Chance.

Nude is a matte color which is perfect to use as a base because it evens out the lid and covers small veins.

Flutter is a shimmery Champagne color which is nice to wear on its own.

Second Chance is the most unique creme shadow I own. It is very similar to Vex from Mac. Unfortunately I does not photograph as well so the swatch does not show it in its full beauty ;)

It is a beige-grey with pink shimmer.

Wet n Wild Petal Pusher

Nachdem ich euch hier schon die Comfort Zone Palette von Wet n Wild vorgestelle habe, möchte ich euch heute die Petal Pusher Palette zeigen.

Leider kann ich jedoch schon vorweg sagen, dass ich von der Palette weit aus weniger begeistert war, als von der Comfort Zone Palette. Aber seht selbst...

I have already showed the Comfort Zone Palette from Wet n Wild here. Today I want to talk about the Petal Pusher Palette.

Unfortunately I can already say that it is not as great as the Comfort Zone Palette....

Die Tatsache, dass ihr hier nur 7 statt 8 Farben geswatched steht, liegt nicht daran, dass ich die erste vergessen habe, sondern daran, dass der erste Lidschatten NULL Farbabgabe hat. Ich habe mehrfach mit meinem Finger in der Farbe rumgerührt und es war nicht mehr aus dem Lidschatten rauszuholen, als das was ihr vielleicht auf dem Bild mit Blitzlicht erahnen könnt.

Das war eigentlich schonmal die erste Enttäuschung. Auch die zweite Farbe ist nicht wirklich toll pigmentiert. Die ersten beiden Farben können bei weitem nicht mit der Qualität der andern Palette mithalten.

Die nächsten 4 Farben finde ich ganz gut, wobei die 6te (das Weinrötliche) wieder nicht so toll pigmentiert ist. Die Vorletzte Farbe sieht in der Palette interessant aus, geswatched finde ich sie jedoch weniger spannend. Die vorletzte und letzte Farbe sind sind für meinen Geschmack zu ähnlich. Beides ist ein matter Schwarzton mit einmal Beerenfarbigem und einmal Silber grobem Schimmer.

Ich werd mal ein bisschen damit herum experimentieren, aber der erste Eindruck ist (im Gegensatz zur Comfort Zone Palette) eher enttäuschend.

You can only see 7 swatches instead of 8 because the first color is so poorly pigmented that you can literally not see it at all. That was the first big disappointment. Especially after the great pigmentation of the Comfort Zone Palette this was a poor start for the Petal Pusher Palette. I tried really hard for the color to show up but no matter how much I rubbed with my finger in the eyeshadow it just would show.

The next color has a slightly better pigmentation but also not the greatest. The rest of the colors have a good pigmentation. The 6th color could be better but it's still ok.

The second to last color looks very interesting in the palette but swatched it is not that unique. It looks a lot like the last color just with pink shimmer instead of silver.

I am so far not that impressed with this palette. There are still come nice colors in it and I will have to experiment with them but next to the Comfort Zone palette this one is just not that impressing...
