Little Haul oder Nars Orgasm Nagellack und Lidschatten

Neulich im Müller...

Habe ich 3 neue Schätze entdeckt. Zum einen habe ich mir zum ersten Mal ein Produkt der deutschen Naturkosmetik Marke Lavera gekauft. Es geht um einen Lidschatten in einem wunderschönen Taupe (Shiny Taupe). 2g kosten 7,95€. Der Lidschatten riecht total gut. Normalerweise rieche ich nicht an meinen Lidschatten, aber bei diesem mache ich da gerne eine Ausnahme! Der Lidschatten riecht auch überraschenderweise nicht nach dem typischen Naturkosmetikgeruch, falls ihr wisst was ich meine. Sondern einfach nur total angenehm! Aber genug zum Duft der Lidschatten. Die Farbe ist ein wunderschönes Taupe, dass ich so auch nicht im Naturkosmetikbereich erwartet hätte. Ich werde mich in jedem Fall in Zukunft öfter auch mal bei Lavera umschauen. Die Textur, die Farbe, der Geruch und dann auch noch Naturkosmetik made in Germany,- da bin ich dabei! :)

I found three beautiful product. First of all I got my first product from the German natural cosmetic line "Lavera". It is a really pretty eyeshadow in the color shiny taupe. 2g cost 7,95€. I love the scent of this eyeshadow. It is definitly not what you would typically expect a natural eyeshadow to smell like! I can't stop smelling this eyeshadow and yes this does sound kind of weird. ;) But enough about the scent of the eyeshadow. I also love the texture, the color (which I again would not have expected to find in a natural cosmetic line) and I enjoy that the product is all natural and also made in Germany. I am sold and I am sure I will keep checking out this brand. :)

Die zwei anderen Schätze erinnern mich start an Nars Orgasm nur nicht als Blush sondern in der Nagellack und Lidschatten Version. Zum einen geht es um den Artdeco Lidschatten 235, ein schönes peachy-pink mit goldenem Schimmer (0,8g für 4,69€). Gerade im Sommer lachen mich solche Farben sehr an. So konnte ich auch nicht an dem gleichfarbigen Nagellack von der Marke Makeup Factory in der Farbe 494 vorbeigehen (9ml für 8,50€)... Aber seht selbst.

The other two purchases I made remind me a lot of the Nars blush in orgasm. Just in its nail polish and eyeshadow version. The eyeshadow I am talking about is from Artdeco in the color 235 a really pretty peachy-pink with gold shimmer. (the price for 0,8g is 4,69€). I love this kind of color in the summer time. Thus I also got a similar colored nail polish form Makeup Factory in the color 494. For 8,50€ you get 9ml of product. 

 

Black Pencil Eyel Liner Comparison

Heute gibt es mal einen kleinen Kajal Vergleich. Vergleichen möchte ich den schwarzen Eye liner von Artdeco(5,80€), den 24/7 Glide-on eye pencil von Urban Decay in Zero ($17 ca. 12€)und den Kajal eye liner von Stila in Onyx ($18 ca. 12,80€).

Davon abgesehen, dass alle drei schwarze Kajals sind, haben sie noch die Gemeinsamkeit, dass sie alle drei sehr cremig sind. Mit Cremig meine ich, dass sie so weich und cremig sind, dass man in der Regel keine richtig dünne Linie damit hin bekommt, sondern eher eine etwas Breitere, die sich dann jedoch leicht zum Smokey Eye Look verwischen lässt.

Wie ihr auf dem Bild sehen könnt, liefert der Stila Kajal das farbintensivste Schwarz, das mit dem Gloss ähnlichen Finish schon hast an Liquid Liner erinnert. Der Kajal von Urban Decay hat ein weit weniger intensives Farbergebnis und ist dicht gefolgt vom Artdeco Kajal. Von der Haltbarkeit liegt meiner Meinung nach der Urban Decay Liner vorne. Für die Wasserlinie(?) (waterline) ist jedoch der Stila Kajal der absolute Gewinner was die Haltbarkeit betrifft.

Fazit:

Mein Favorit ist der Stila.
Vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat definitiv der Artdeco gewonnen.
Den Kajal von Urban Decay finde ich zwar gut, der sehr geringe Qualitätsvorsprung gegenüber dem Artdeco rechtfertigt jedoch nicht den doppelt so hohen Preis von Urban Decay.
Wenn es ein teurer Kajal sein soll, dann doch lieber der von Stila.


Today I am going to compare 3 black pencil eye liners: The 24/7 glide-on eye pencil from Urban Decay in Zero ($17), the Kajal eye liner from Stila in Onyx ($18) and the Artdeco kajal eye pencil is black ($8). All three pencil eye liners are extremly creamy and smooth. Because of that however it is almost not possible to draw a precise line.
The Stila product is the most intense black eye pencil. Because of it's almost glossy look it reminds me a lot of liquid liner. The Urban Decay liner is a lot less intense and closely followed by the Artdeco eye pencil. The Urban Decay pencil has the best staying power out of the three. However the Stila eye pencil is by far the best for the use at the waterline. It is the only eye pencil I know that will stay on the waterline all day long.



Conclusion:

The Stila eye pencil is my favorit.
The Artdeco pencil liner has the best cost/performance ratio.
Even though I do like the Urban Decay pencil it's quality is only a little better than the Artdeco pencil liner and which doesn't justify twice the price.
If it has to be a more expensive pencil liner it should rather be the Stila one.

Der reguläre Preis würde 39,20€ betragen. Anlässlich des 25jährigen Jubiläums hat Artdeco eine Auswahl ihrer Produkte für 25% günstiger verkauft. Alle im Set enthaltenen Produkte waren/ sind in der Jubiläums Produktauswahl dabei gewesen und hätten dort alle zusammen 29,40€ gekostet. Super überrascht war ich also, als ich das Set für nur 19,95 gesehen habe. Das ist ein wirklich unschlagbarer Preis. Ich dachte erst, es wären vielleicht keine Fullsize Produkte, aber es sind alles die Originalgrößen. Da ich alle 4 Produkte bereits kenne, kann ich jedem eine Kaufempfehlung geben. Der Name des Sets ist gut gewählt, ich würde die Produkte wirklich als Beauty Highlights beschreiben. Man kann nichts mit ihnen falsch machen.

Der Mascara ist toll, er verleiht in erster Linie viel Volumen.

Die Wirksamkeit der Eye Base wird von jenen, die sie kennen oft mit der der amerikanischen Konkurrenten verglichen.

Der schwarze Eyeliner ist sehr cremig und eignet sich daher vor allem für Smokey Eye Looks. Dünne präzise Linien sind damit jedoch eher schwierig.

Der Perfect Teint Illuminator erinnert mich immer etwas an den Touche Eclat von YSL, ich selbst habe den von YSL jedoch noch nicht benutzt. Aber jemand der beide besitzt, sollte unbedingt mal einen Vergleich starten ;)

Artdeco Deep Black

Mein derzeitiger Lieblingsmascara ist der Artdeco Deep Black.

Nachdem ich eine Probe von diesem Mascara in einem Set erhalten hatte, war ich ziemlich angetan und hab mir daraufhin auch bald die Fullsize gekauft. Für 12,80€ bekommt man hier 10ml. Normalerweise habe ich immer zu wasserfesten Mascaras gegriffen, dieser ist nicht wasserfest. Nachteile konnte ich davon bisher jedoch noch keine feststellen.

Er macht die Wimpern tief schwarz und gibt ihnen sowohl Schwung als auch Volumen. Ich habe von Natur aus sehr gerade und durchschnittlich lange bzw. kurze Wimpern. Der Deep Black von Artdeco holt wie ich finde eine Menge aus den Wimpern raus. Panthenol und Vitamin E sollen außerdem die Wimpern pflegen. Der einzige Nachteil, wenn man es denn so nennen will, ist, dass er etwas schwerer abzuschminken ist als manch anderer Mascara (die Betonung liegt auf etwas, denn ich habe diesen Aspekt betreffend schon wesentlich schlimmere Mascaras gehabt). Für das Ergebnis, was der Mascara erzielt, nehme ich den geringen Mehraufwand in Kauf.

My favorite mascara is the Deep Black Mascara from Artdeco. For those of you who don't know the brand Artdeco: It is a very successful (if not the most successful) Germany make-up brand that is by now available in most European countries as well as Singapore and Canada. Internationally most known is probably the eye shadow base from Artdeco. Ok- Back to topic

I first received this mascara as a free sample in a kit with the above mentioned eye shadow base. I liked it a lot and soon after that purchased the full size (0.33 oz for about $16). I usually always reach for waterproof mascaras. This one is not waterproof but I couldn't really find any downside of this. I have naturally straight and average long or shot lashes. The Artdeco Deep Black mascara really gives them a deep black color and adds curve as well as volume to my lashes. Panthenol and Vitamin E are suppose to strengthen the lashes. The only downside, if you want to call it a downside, might be, that the mascara is kind of hard to remove (Even though I have had mascaras that were much harder to remove than this one). I really like what this mascara does to my lashes that's why I don't really mind the extra effort.

Tipp:

Zur Zeit gibt es den Mascara im Douglas in einem Set mit einem gratis Mini Perfect Teint Illuminator (Den habe ich bisher noch nicht probiert, die Beschreibung hat mich jedoch sehr stark an den YSL Touche Eclat Concealer erinnert. Ich bin mal gespannt...die Bewertungen sind bei Douglas jedenfalls durchweg 5 Sterne)

Right now the mascara is available at Douglas with a free sample of the Mini Perfect Teint Illuminator which I have not tried yet. But it's describtion reminds me a lot of the YSL Touche Eclat Concealer. I am curious on trying this especially because it has all over good reviews

Stila convertible eye color

Stila convertible eye color ist ein tolles 3 in 1 Produkt. In dem Stift ist auf der einen Seite ein Eyeliner, auf der anderen Seite ein Smudger und zu guter Letzt kann man noch die Mitte aufschrauben und man hat einen Lidschatten. Der Lidschatten und der Eyeliner sind farblich aufeinander abgestimmt. Ich hab den Stift in der Farbe Indigo und Ivy:

Ich finde die Idee, dass man alles in einem Stift untergebracht hat gut und auch die Umsetzung ist meiner Meinung nach gelungen. Mit einer guten Lidschattenbase hält das Augen-Makeup auch den ganzen Tag. Der Eyeliner ist schön cremig und lässt sich gut auftragen, der Lidschatten hat ebenfalls eine gute Konsistenz und lässt sich daher gut verblenden. Den Smudger benutze ich jedoch eher selten, aber wenn man mal unterwegs ist und nicht seine Pinsel alle dabei hat, kann er durchaus ganz praktisch sein.

Ich finde die verschiedenen Farbkombinationen auf der Stila Homepage nicht sehr treffend dargestellt. Nur ein Beispiel: Bei Indigo sieht der Eyeliner auf der Homepage mittelblau aus; in Wirklichkeit ist er schon fast schwarz mit blauen Reflexen. Wenn man also gezielt nach speziellen Farben sucht, dürfte die Website einen eher in die Irre führen. Etwas übertrieben finde ich auch den Preis von $22. Hier zahlt man ganz klar die Marke und die Idee. Von der Menge her erhält man gerade mal je 2g Eyeliner und Lidschatten. Ich habe die Stifte jedoch nicht bei Stila sondern bei allcosmeticwholesale erstanden, hier zahlt man lediglich $7-$8. Hinzu kommen zwar noch Versandkosten von rund $5 aber im Endeffekt spart man dennoch fast die Hälfte.

Der Lidschattenteil des Stifts erinnert mich stark an den Artdeco Eye Designer. Für 9,50€ kann man den Applikator kaufen und links und rechts einen Lidschatten dran schrauben, der Lidschatten kostet nochmal jeweils 7,50€. Summiert eigentlich auch ein teurer Spaß mit 24,50€. Meiner war glücklicherweise ein Weihnachtsgeschenk. :) Ich finde ich ebenso wie den Stila Pen sehr praktisch wenn man unterwegs ist.

I really like the idea of having all those tools in one pen. The quality is also pretty good, with an eyeshadow base it is going to last all day long. The eyeliner is very soft and easy to apply. The eye shadow is also easy to blend. I don't really use the smudger, but it is handy to have when you're on the go and don't have any other tools at hand.

I think the color descriptions on the stila webpage are rather misleading. For example: The eyeliner from indigo is described as a medium blue whereas in reality it is almost black with blue particles. $22 is also pretty expensive for only 0.007 oz of eye shadow and liner but you clearly pay the name and the idea with this product. I got is at allcosmeticswholesale and payed about $7-$8 plus shipping which is a lot less than the original price. The eyeshadow part of the stila convertible eye color reminds me a lot of the Artdeco eye designer. Artdeco is a very successful German makeup-brand that is now available in most European countries as well as Singapore and Canada. You can buy an applicator-pen for about $11 and an eye shadow refill for each site for each $9. In the end it also is a rather huge investment. Mine was given to me as a present :) Just like the stila pen is it very handy to take along when you are on the go.

Die Farben sind im Gegensatz zu dem Stila convertible eye color etwas schimmernder:

Neulich habe ich im Internet den Rimmel Eye Twist Automatic Duo Liner & Shadow gesehen und dachte gleich, dass könnte eine günstigere Alternative zum Stila convertible eye color Stift sein. Es hat sich dann jedoch herausgestellt, dass der Lidschatten hier nicht in Puderform ist sondern ebenfalls ein fester Stift ist. Mir persönlich gefällt der Stila convertible eye color Stift wesentlich besser als der Rimmel Eye Twist. Der Lidschattenstick beim Rimmel Eye Twist ist auf dem Auge nicht sonderlich langlebig und setzt sich trotz Base auch gerne in der Lidfalte ab. Die Eyelinerseite ist hingegen ok.

Recently I saw the Rimmel Eye Twist Automatic Duo Liner & Shadow online and I thought it could be a cheaper alternative to the Stila convertible eye color. But then I realized that the eye shadow is not a powder put a stick which I don't really like. Even with an eyeshadow base the shadow creases. The eyeliner is ok.
