Rituals Cheek & Eye Glow in Peach

9g kosten 24,90. Ein Schnäppchen ist etwas anderes, aber es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick. So richtig aufmerksam wurde ich auf die Kosmetikprodukte von Rituals durch Cream's Beauty Blog. Das Check & Eye Glow gibt es in 3 Farben: Peach, Bronze und Pink. Der Cheek & Eye Glow in Pink hat mich ganz stark an den Dior Diamond Highlighter in Rose erinnert. Da ich den jedoch schon habe und Bronze zu dunkel für mich ist, ist es Peach geworden.

Wie ihr an den Swatches sehen könnt, kann man die einzelnen Farben wirklich auch toll als Lidschatten verwenden. Die Farbe ganz rechts sind alle Farben gemischt. Dann erhält man einen leichten sonnengeküssten Glow. Ein absoluter Pluspunkt ist für mich auch, dass das Produkt zwar schimmert, jedoch kein Glitzer zu erkennen ist. :) Toll finde ich auch, dass das Produkte laut Hersteller aus "Natürlichen Edelsteinen und reinen Mineralien besteht und keine Parabene oder Duftstoffe enthält. - Da hat man doch gleich ein gutes Gewissen. ;)

As you can tell from the swatches you can really use the colors individually as eyeshadows to create a summery look. :) All the way to the right is the color you get when you mix all colors together. What I really like is that the product gives you a sunkissed glow without being obviously shimmery. Another plus is that the product is make from natural gemstones and pure minerals and does not contain any parabens nor perfume.

Soap & Glory Lid Stuff

Vor einiger Zeit hatte ich euch berichtet, dass es in jetzt in England zumindest schon mal dekorative Kosmetik von Soap & Glory gibt. Neben dem Bronzer und Highlighter hatte ich mir auch das Lidschatten Quad in der Farbe "Whats Nude" via Ebay.uk bestellt. 

Enthalten sind, was sonst, vier Nudetöne á 1,5g. Drei der Lidschatten sind matt, einer schimmert. Da in den meisten Paletten matte Lidschatten eher rar gesät sind, freue ich mich sehr über diese Zusammenstellung. Die Lidschatten sind gut pigmentiert und lassen sich gut auftragen und verblenden. Leider gibt es etwas Fallout, jedoch nichts was man nicht ertragen könnte. Mit Base (die benutze ich immer) halten sie den ganzen Tag. In England kostet das Quad 10 GBP, was ich einen wirklich fairen Preis finde. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich finde es übrigens wirklich lustig, dass Soap & Glory auf der Rückseite darauf aufmerksam macht, dass sie ganz bewusst keinen "billigen" Schaumstoffapplikator dazugelegt haben, da dieser nur den Preis unnötig in die Höhe getrieben hätte und sie davon ausgehen, dass an lieber einen anständigen Pinsel benutzt. Dazu kann man nur sagen, gut zugehört Soap & Glory. Jedenfalls spiegelt sich dieses Empfinden bei den meisten Bloggern wieder. I.d.R. wird in Reviews zwar auf das Vorhandensein eines Pinsels oder ähnlichem hingewiesen, jedoch meist nicht ohne zu erwähnen, dass dieser völlig nutzlos- da schlecht ist.

A while ago I told you about Soap and Glory cosmetics which is now available in the UK. I ordered the bronzer, the highlighter as well as one of their eyeshadow quads in "Whats Nude" on Ebay.uk. Today I want to show you the eyeshadow quad.

It contains four nude eyeshadow. Three of the eyeshadows are matt one is shimmery. Since it is rather rare that an eyeshadow quad contains that many matt eyeshadow I really enjoy this combination. The eyeshadows are all very pigmented and easy to work with. They also last all day (with a base, which I always use). There is some fallout but nothing I couldn't bare. Overall I am very satisfied with the quad. 10 GBP is a fair price for what you get. I think it is funny that soap & glory points out that they on purpose didn't include a rubbish applicator. For one that would raise the price and they assume that you would rather use a proper brush instead.

Terra Del Sol Bronzer

Bisher haben mich die Terra Del Sol Bronzer, die es bei Douglas gibt, kaum angesprochen. Beim Swatchen haben die Produkte für meinen Geschmack viel zu viel Glitzer enthalten. Als ich vor einiger Zeit mal wieder im Douglas war, habe ich zufällig mitbekommen wie eine Douglas-Mitarbeiterin das Produkt bei einer Kundin aufgetragen hat und das Ergebnis hat mir erstaunlich gut gefallen. Bei näherer Betrachtung habe ich dann herausgestellt, dass die Farbe 02 Sand kaum Glitzer / Glanzpartikel enthält. Für 6,95€ bei 9g Produkt habe ich dem Produkt dann doch mal eine Chance gegeben. Ich bin mit dem Bronzer eigentlich ziemlich zufrieden, wenn man ihn dezent über das ganze Gesicht oder in der 3- bzw. E- Bewegung aufträgt ist das Ergebnis relativ natürlich, was ich sehr mag. Zum Konturieren benutze ich den Bronzer jedoch nicht.

I just recently tried a new bronzer called Terra Del Sol (No. 2). It is available at Douglas and 9g are only 6,95€ which is a fair price to me. I never really payed a lot of attention to these bronzers because they always seemed too shimmery for my taste. But the last time I went to Douglas one of their Makeup-artists was applying this product to a customer and I really liked the result. After I gave the Terra Del Sol bronzers another close look I realized that the shade 02 (sand) is actually an almost mat shade. So I gave it a try and I really like it to either dust it lightly allover my face or to apply it in a E-or 3-motion on my face. I however don't use it to contour.

2nd Love die Zweite (Blush, Bronzer, Eyeshadow)

Ich hatte euch hier bereits von meiner "Neuentdeckung" berichtet. Die gebackenen Lidschatten Duos von 2nd Love haben es mir so sehr angetan, dass ich neugierig wurde noch mehr Produkte von der Marke 2nd Love zu testen. Neben den zwei Lidschatten Duos sind seither noch ein Lidschatten Duo, zwei Blushes und ein Bronzer bei mir eingezogen.

Zunächst einmal das neue Lidschatten Duo. Es hat die selbe Qualität wie die anderen beiden Lidschatten Duos und ich bin super zufrieden damit. Das Duo heißt Earth. Die Farben sind alltagstauglich. Ein schönes Schokobraun und ein toller Creme off-white Ton, der sich gut zum highlighten eignet.

Lets first talk about the new eyeshadow duo. It's called Earth and it is great for everyday use. The quality is as good as with the other two duos I own. It Duo contains a chocolate brown and a off-white creme shade, which is great for highlighting. As the other two duos these colors are not glittery they just have a little shimmer.

Als nächstes kommen wir zu den Blushes. Als ich die Blushes das erste mal gesehen habe, dachte ich nur "Wiiiiiie schön"! Sie sehen den MSF's von MAC recht ähnlich mit ihren schönen Venen. Nachdem ich die Blushes jedoch geswatched hatte, war ich ziemlich enttäuscht. Die Qualität ist wesentlich gröber, als die der Lidschatten Duos. Die Pigmentierung ist ziemlich dürftig. Aus dem Grund habe ich für die Swatches auch eine Base verwendet und mit der Base ist die Pigmentierung "ok", aber auch nicht berauschend. Da ich Blush eigentlich immer über eine Foundation auftrage, trage ich quasi immer eine Art Base darunter. Ich kann also damit arbeiten, der Blush ist auf meiner doch relativ hellen Haut gut sichtbar. Aber im Vergleich zur Pigmentierung der Lidschatten, sind die Blushes ziemlich mager. Das nächste Problem. Die Blushes enthalten extrem grobe Glitzerpartikel und von sowas bin ich überhaupt kein Fan. Ich hab den Blushes allerdings trotzdem eine Chance gegeben und habe dann beim Auftragen gemerkt, dass sich die Glitzerpartikel, eben weil sie so grob sind, ganz leicht mit einem Pinsel vom Gesicht "wischen" lassen. Also mein erster Eindruck war WOW wie schön, mein zweiter Eindruck war Oh Gott, was soll ich damit nur anfangen und mein dritter und hoffentlich letzter Eindruck ist, dass die Blushes doch ganz brauchbar sind. ;) Vom Ergebnis erinnert mich Terra Cotta etwas an den Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul von MAC

Next are the blushes. To be honest they disappointed me a little. They look lovely in the pan kind of like MSF's from MAC. Both the quality was nothing like the eyeshadows. The texture of the blushes is not as fine as the eyeshadows are. They are not nearly as pigmented. I used a base in the pictures underneath and the pigmentation is "ok". Since I usually use foundation before I use blush etc. it kind of acts like a base so I can still work with the blushes. I mean then will show up for sure but compared to the eyeshadow they pigmentation of the blushes is just poor.

Another drawback is that the blushes have really chunky peaces of glitter in them which I can't stand. But I still gave them a try and I realized that because of the glitter being so chunky you can pretty easily blend the chunks away when you apply the product. So my first impression of these war rather horrible and I thought I couldn't use them at all. But after a while I realized they are not as bad as I first thought. Actually Terra Cotta reminds me once applied a lot of MAC's mineralize blush in Warm Soul.

Zu guter Letzt der Bronzer bzw. der Glow N`Bronze, wie er offiziell heißt. Es gibt ihn in 3 verschiedenen Farben. Ich habe mich für die hellste Farbe entschieden, sie heißt "Warmth" obwohl es der kühlste Ton unter den Bronzern von 2nd Love it. Von der Qualität ist der Bronzer sehr ähnlich wie die Lidschatten und zum Glück nicht so wie die Blushes. Die Pigmentierung ist gut und das Produkt nicht zu "grob". Ich finde sowohl die einzelnen Farben schön (man könnte sie auch als Lidschatten benutzten), als auch die Farbe die entsteht, wenn man alle Töne mischt. Der Bronzer ist definitiv nicht matt, sondern verleiht einem einen Bronze Shimmer Look für den Sommer. Er enthält jedoch keine groben Glitzerpartikel, wie die Blushes.

Last but not least the Bronzer or how it is called the Glow N'Bronzer. 2nd Love has three different shades. I got the lightest which is called Warmth even though it is the coolest shade out of the Bronzers they offer. The texture and quality is pretty similar to the eyeshadow duos and not at all like the blushes. I like the individual colors (which you also could use as eyeshadows) as well as the result it gives you when you swirl all of the colors together. It is for sure not a matte bronzer so it does give you a bronzy shimmery summer look but it does not have chunky of glitter in it like the blushes do.

Too Faced -Mocha Mi Amore Blush (MAC Cubic Dupe?!)

Too Faced ist einfach immer ganz weit vorne, wenn es darum geht die Verpackung ansprechend zu gestalten. In diesem Fall finde ich nicht nur die Verpackung gelungen, sondern auch das Produkt.Es ist ein schöner bräunlicher Bronze/Pflaumeton. Tolle Beschreibung ;) Mit dezentem Goldschimmer. Aufgrund der Farbe, kann man den Blush auch als Bronzer benutzten. Kostenpunkt $20 über AllCosmeticsWholesale hab ich das Rouge für ca. $10 plus Porto erstanden :)

Too Faced and their packaging! How can you not love it ;) Well it is not only the packaging I like in this case ;) The blush in the color Mocha Mi Amore is a relly nice bronzey brownish, slightly plummy blush that could as well be used as a bronzer. It has a slight gold shimmer in it, but nothing too obvious. Regular price $20 Got it for about $10 at Allcosmeticswholesale. And I would buy it again :)

Vor kurzem habe ich die Ähnlichkeit mit MAC Cubic festgestellt. Links Too Faced Mocha Mi Amore und rechts MAC Cubic. Diesmal mit Base. Cubic wollte sich heute Base irgendwie nicht richtig zeigen, deshalb hab ich dem Too Faced Produkt in dem Vergleich der Fairness halber auch eine Base gegönnt. Wesentlicher Unterschied ist, dass Cubic ein Satin Finish hat und Mi Amore Mocha in MAC Sprache wohl eher ein Sheertone Shimmer Finish hat.

I just realized the similarity between Too Faced Mocha Mi Amore and MAC Cubic. They look just alike. This time I applied the blushes over a base. Cubic didn't want to show otherwise.. Main difference is that Cubic is a satin finish whereas Mi Amore Mocha would (in MAC language) be a sheertone shimmer.

Hm, beide haben ihre Vor- und Nachteile.

Both have their pros and cons.

Ich bevorzuge den Too Faced Bronzer. Neben den Barry M Natural Dazzle mein Lieblingsbronzer 2011. Ich mag die Farbe und den Duft lieber. Außerdem finde ich den Spiegel praktisch, und finde es toll, dass echter Kakao benutzt wird. Leider ist er ganz schön teuer für eine relativ geringe Menge.

I prefer the Too Faced Bronzer. Next to my Barry M Natural Dazzle my favorite bronzer 2011. I really like the color and enjoy the scent. It's also handy to have a mirror in the compact. I also like the idea of real cocoa powder in the product. It is however rather pricy.

Beide Bronzer sind tendenziell eher für dunklere Hauttypen geeignet. Ich bin relativ blass, komme aber bei dezentem Auftrag sehr gut damit klar.

Both Bronzers are for darker skin types. I am rather pale but still like them a lot as long as I don't apply too much. A little goes a long way.

Too Faced Pink Leopard Dupe?

Ich war neulich bei Woolworth ( ein seltenes Ereignis) und habe mich mal in der Kosmetikecke etwas umgesehen. Neben dem Burt's Bees Lippenpflegestift Dupeversuch, habe ich noch einen anderen potentiellen Dupe-Kandidaten entdeckt.

Es handelt sich um den Too Faced Bronzer Pink Leopard ($28), dessen prägnantestes Merkmal der Leoparden-Print ist. Ein ganz ähnliches Exemplar gab es auch von Basic Concept bei Woolworth für ca- 3-4€. Das Pink und das dunkle Braun sind auch nebeneinander sehr ähnlich. Die Grundfarbe ist jedoch verschieden. Beim Too Faced Bronzer ist ist Ausgangsfarbe ein Bronzeton. Beim Basic Concept ist es eher ein Beigeton. Das Ergebnis steht ihr selbst...

I lately went to Woolworth (were I almost never go) and I was looking around in the cosmetic section (where else would I look ;) ). I found next to a Burt's Bees looking lip balm a bronzer that looked just like the Too Faced Pink Leopard Bronzer but a lot cheaper for only 3-4€. I had to get it and I swatched them side by side. The bown and pink is pretty similar in both bronzers but the base color is different. The base color in the Too Faced Bronzer is a bronze color whereas the Basic Concept Bronzer has more of a beige base color. But look for yourself...

Barry M Natural Dazzle

Mein Lieblingsbronzer. Der Barry M Natural Dazzle

Es gibt ihn in zwei Ausführungen als loses Puder oder als Kompaktpuder. Ich bevorzuge die Kompaktpuderversion (man sieht es ihm leider auch an). Sie unterscheiden sich komischerweise auch leicht in der Farbe.

It comes as a compact or as loose powder. You can tell, that I prefer the compact. They also have a slightly different color (for whatever reason)

Jetzt wird es kompliziert. Ursprünglich hatte ich nur den Bronzer einmal gepresste Version (5. Swatch) einmal loose Version (6. Swatch) geswatched. Da mich dieser Bronzer schon immer etwas an den Benefit Blush in Dallas erinnert hat, habe ich das mal dazu geswatched (1. Swatch). Der Barry M Bronzer ist aber ein Tick bräunlicher als Dallas. Also habe ich daneben Hoola von Benefit (2. Swatch) geswatched. Weil der Barry M Bronzer wenn man ihn zu dick swatched d.h. in diesem Fall einen Brocken Puder verreibt, anders wirkt, nämlich wesentlich dunkler (das ist der Fall beim 5. Swatch), habe ich neben Hoola (2. Swatch) noch einmal das Barry M gepresste Puder "dünner" geswatched (3. Swatch). Danach habe ich dann Dallas mit Hoola gemischt geswatched (4. Swatch). *Haha* Sind alle mitgekommen?

Wie man sieht trifft die Mischung Dallas+Hoola nicht ganz das Ergebnis vom Barry M. Ich denke man müsste Dallas mit einem anderen Braunton mischen. Hoola ist zu ocker. Oder man kauft einfach direkt den Barry M Bronzer er ist nämlich einfach super :)

Er hat keinen Schimmer aber trotzdem einen Glow (ganz schwer zu beschreiben). Ich benutze ihn quasi täglich zum konturieren. Er ist super super fest gepresst und wird (wenn er einem nicht gerade runterfällt und dabei kaputt geht ) ewig halten. Die Verpackung ist übrigend exakt wie bei Narsprodukten gummiert.

Hier nochmal übersichtlicher:

Dallas, Hoola, Barry M Compact (dünn), Dallas+Hoola, Barry M Compact (dick), Barry M Looses Puder

Now this complicated. First I only swatched the Barry M Compact (5th Swatch) and the loose powder (6. Swatch). Since I always thought the Barry M Bronzer looked a little like Benefits Dallas I swatched that (1st Swatch). But the Bronzer is slightly more brown than Dallas, so I also swatched Hoola (2nd Swatch). Because I used a huge chunk of Barry M Compact when I did the 5th Swatch it looks a lot darker than it usually is. Thanks why I swatched it again this time I used my finger and applied it thinner (3rd Swatch). Then I swatched a mix of Dallas and Hoola next to it (4th Swatch). *Haha* Did everybody follow me sofar?!

Well the Dallas Hoola combination does not look like the Barry M Bronzer. Hoola is too ocher you would have to use a different shade of brown / bronzer to mix Dallas to get the Barry M Bronzer. Or just get the Barry M Bronzer right away because it is awesome :)

The Bronzer doesn't have shimmer but it glows anyway (it's hard to discribe the finish, I'd say it is the most like satin) It is super tightly pressed. And unless you break it, like I did, it will probably last you forever! I use it to contour almost everyday. It has the same packaging like Nars products.

Ich habe 2 Essence Produkte gewonnen. Den Into the Wild Bronzer und die Blush Brush von Essence. Ich habe mich sehr über den Gewinn gefreut, da ich ohnehin einen kleinen Bronzer/Blush Tick habe und gute Pinsel sind natürlich auch immer willkommen. I just recently took part in a giveaway from Clau Miau. And for the first time I actually won in a giveaway. My prize arrived yesterday. I got two LE products from Essence. A Bronzer from the "Into the wild" Le and a Blush Brush. I didn't have either of the products. Since I am a blush/ bronzer addict anyway I totally love my prize. The brush was hyped a lot and from my first impression I now understand why. It is extremely soft and has a nice shape... Looking forward to actually use it. Right now it is drying from beeing washed. Thank you again for the great prize! :)

Face/Foundation Routine

Zunächst creme ich meine Haut mit einer vorzugsweise gelartigen d.h. schnell einziehenden Creme ein. Hierzu verwende ich zur Zeit gerne das SOS-Serum von Balea (Winter) oder die Clinique moisture surge extended thirst relief (Sommer).

I like to use a light moisturizer underneath my foundation which my skin can absorb quickly. In winter I like the SOS-Serum from Balea (a drugstore brand) a lot because it contains Urea and is rather rich for being a fluid type moisturizer. In summer I like the gel-crème from Clinique called moisture surge extended thirst relief.

Ich benutze eher selten Primer. Falls ich jedoch mal welchen benutze, ist es entweder der Mineral Infused Face Primer von Elf oder das Photo Finish von Smasbox (im Bild nur eine Probegröße).

I rarely use face primers but if I use them I either apply the Mineral Infused Face Primer from Elf or Smasbox's Photo Finish (small size in the picture).

Am liebsten benutze ich die Annayake fond de teint fluide für normale bis trockene Haut (Farbe: 25 rosé) oder die Dior Nude (Farbe: 020).

Ich mag gerne sehr flüssige Foundation, die viel Feuchtigkeit spenden, da ich zu trockener Haut neige. Aus dem Drogeriebereich (leider nicht dem deutschen, sondern dem amerikanischen) mag ich sehr gerne das Neutrogena healthy skin liquid makeup (Farbe: Natural Ivory od. Buff).

Alle drei Foundations haben aus meiner Sicht eine leichte bis mittlere Deckkraft, die mir völlig reicht.

I really enjoy both my Annayake fond de teint fluide for normal to dry skin (Color: 25 Rosé) and the Dior Nude (Color: 020). I prefer very liquid foundations which are hydrating because my skin is rather dry. I also enjoy the Neutrogena healty skin liquid makeup (Color: Natural Ivory or Buff) which unfortunately is not available in Germany.

All three foundations have a light to medium coverage which is exactly what I need.

Bei Concealer schwöre ich auf den Max Factor Mastertouch (Farbe: Ivory) sowie den Artdeco Perfect Teint Concealer (Farbe: 5).

Den Concealer fixiere ich dann mit dem Alverde Puder Camouflage. Das Ergebnis ist für mich bisher nicht zu übertreffen.

Concealer wise I swear by the Max Factor Mastertouch (Color: Ivory) and the Artdeco Perfect Teint Concealer (Color: 5). I love both of them they do a great job!

I achieve the perfect results if I put the Alverde Puder Camouflage over my concealer. The Alverde Puder Camouflage is sort of like the Benefit powderflage just a lot cheaper and less shimmery.

Im nächsten Schritt fixiere ich die Foundation mit Puder. Hierfür benutze ich transparentes bzw. kaum deckendes Puder. Meine Favoriten zum Fixieren sind dsa NYX Luxurious Black Label Compact Powder (Farbe: Natural), das Elf Translucent Matifying Powder und das Elf High Definition Powder. Seit neuestem benutze ich auch noch ganz gerne Das KIKO Soft Light Powder, was ich hier vorgestellt habe. Da ich es jedoch noch nicht so lange besitze, möchte ich es noch nicht zu meinen Favoriten dazu zählen.

Next I set my foundation with a translucent powder (or a powder which is sort of sheer). I really like the NYX Luxurious Black Label Compact Powder (Color: Natural), the Elf Translucent Matifying Powder and the Elf High Definition Powder. Since a couple of weeks I also like to use the Kiko soft Light Powder which I introduced here.

Zum Konturieren benutze ich entweder den NYX Blush in Taupe, den Essence sun club Bronzer (Blondes), den Barry M Natural Dazzle oder den Hoola Bronzer von Benefit.

Another important step is the contouring. I either reach for the NYX Blush in Taupe, the Essence sun club Bronzer (Blondes), the Barry M Natural Dazzle or Benefit's Hoola Bronzer.

Blush ist für mich ein absolutes Must-have. Ich liebe Blush und den Effekt, den es hat. Man sieht immer gleich wesentlich frischer und gesünder aus.

Ich habe eine große Sammlung an Blushes und trage sie je nach Laune, Saison, Outfit und AMU etc. Im Bild seht ihr eine "kleine" Auswahl meiner Lieblinge:

An absolute must-have is blush. I have a little obsession about them and have quite a lot. I am just going to mention a "small" selection of my favorites which are:

Ich trage nicht regelmäßig Highlighter. Ich tue mich hierbei vor allem schwer damit Highlighter zu finden, die mir wirklich zusagen. Ich mag es absolut nicht, wenn man Glitzerpartikel im Gesicht sieht und auch zu intensiver Schimmer gefällt mir eigentlich nicht. Die einzigen Highlighter die ich bisher gefunden habe, die mir wirklich gut gefallen sind daher lediglich die Eyeko cream sowie den P2 Snow Glam (LE) snowlike highlighter in artic white.

I don't regularly use highlighing powders. I really don't like the ones that have obvious glitter in them and I also don't like the ones that are over the top shimmery. So far I only really enjoy the Eyeko cream and the P2 Snow Glam (LE) snowlike highlighter in artic white.

Bronzer Comparison / Review

Essence Bronzer (For Blondes)
Der Essence Bronzer ist matt und verleiht eine sehr natürliche Bräune. Er ist nur leicht pikentiert daher ist es schwer davon zuviel aufzutragen. Das finde ich besonders gut für Bronzerneulinge. Man kann nicht viel damit falsch machen. Man erhält hier eine Menge Bronzer nämlich 15 g für ca. 3€. Die Verpackung ist schlicht, fast billig, der Deckel ist durchsichtig. Positiv zu erwähnen wäre hier jedoch noch die Prägung im Puder von tanzenden Mädels, nicht super einfallsreich, aber immerhin ein Versuch das Design etwas aufzupeppen. Super finde ich auch den dezenten Kokosduft des Bronzers, der mich sofort an Sommer und Sonnenöl denken lässt. Er ist auch in einer dunkleren Nuance erhätlich.

Würde ich den Bronzer wieder kaufen?
Ja, für den Preis ist es ein unschlagbares Produkt. Die Farbe steht mir als Bronzer sehr gut und ich liebe den Duft! Ich trage lieber / öfter matten Bronzer als schimmernden.

This Bronzer is from a German drugstore brand called Essence. It should be available in most european countries and some products are also available in the US from Ulta.com, they offer a few bronzers from this brand, but not this particular one (Which I like the most out of the Essence Bronzers). You get 0.5 oz product for only $3-$4. In contrast to the Essence Bronzers offered at Ulta this bronzer is matt. It is lightly pigmented. It created a very natural sunkissed look. Because of it's light pigmentation is it very easy to apply and even as a beginner you can't really mess things up with this product. The packaging is very simple and rather unspectacular. Somewhat cute is the embossed printing of dancing girls. I really like the coconutty scent of this bronzer which reminds me of summer :) This bronzer is available in two colors one light version for blondes and a darker version for brunettes.

Would I repurchase?
Yes definitely. The price is just amazing for such a good product. The color suits me very well and I love the scent. Overall prefer matt bronzers over shimmery ones.

Stila Bronzing Powder
Der Bronzer ist ebenfalls matt
Hier bekommt man nur 8 g für $26 (ca. 22€).
Der Bronzer ist normal stark pigmentiert würde ich sagen, also mehr als der Essence Bronzer, aber auch nicht überdurchschnittlich stark. Die Farbe vom Essence Bronzer finde ich persönlich etwas natürlicher. Ein Absoluter Pluspunkt vom Stila Bronzing Powder ist jedoch der SPF 15.
Die Verpackung gefällt mir recht gut, sie ist bronzefarben mit einer Sonnenprägung und dem Namen der Firma "Stila". Praktisch finde ich auch den Spiegel im Deckel. Da ich Bronzer für gewöhnlich zuhause und nicht unterwegs auftrage, ist er aber für mich kein muss bei diesem Produkt. Der Bronzer hat keinen besonderen Geruch.
Er ist in 3 verschiedenen Farbnuancen erhältlich. Ich habe es in der Farbe 01.

Tipp:
Wesentlich günstiger für knapp 8€ + Porto kann man das Bronzing Powder von Stila (zur Zeit nur in der Nuance 02) bei CheapSmells.com bekommen. Eine andere günstigere Alternativen ist Brigette's Boutique hier gibt es zur Zeit die Nuance 01 und 02 für ca. $9,5 + Porto.

Würde ich den Bronzer wieder kaufen?
Vermutlich nicht einfach, weil der Bronzer (regulär) sehr teuer ist und er dem von Essence etwas ähnelt. Der Stila Bronzer hat jedoch SPF, eine bessere Verpackung (mit Spiegel) und eine etwas bessere Pigmentierung.

This Bronzer is also rather matt. It is heavier pigmented compared to the Essence Bronzer, so you need a lot less product. But I personally think that the Essence Bronzer has a more natural color than the Stila Bronzer. It does come in 3 color shades, I have the lightest (01). The packaging of the Stila Bronzer is a lot nicer looking than the Essence one. It is bronze colored and has a sun and the brand name embossed on the outside. It also comes with a mirror inside which is handy even though I usually don't reapply my bronzer during the day. What I like the most about this bronzer is that it has an SPF of 15. This bronzer doensn't really have a scent to it. You have to pay $ 26 for 0.28 oz. But there are some online retailers that sell this bronzer for cheaper. I can recommend CheapSmells.com (which currelty only offers the shade 02) for only £ 5.99 (+shipping). Or Brigette'sBoutique which offers the shades 01 and 02 for $ 9.50 (+shipping)each.

Would I repurchase?
Probably not, just because the (regular) price is really high and this bronzer is kind of similar to the Essence bronzer. Even though the Stila Bronzer has SPF, a cuter Packaging and a better pigmentation.

Too Faced Bronzer Palette:
Die LE Bronzer Palette von Too Faced enthält 3 Bronzer: Sun Bunny (2.5 g), Snow Bunny (4 g) und Pink Leopard (2.5 g) sowie einen Faltbuki (Ein flacher Kabuki, der absolut himmlich weich auf der Haut ist). Alle sind leicht bis stark schimmerd.
Snow Bunny ist eher etwas für helle Hauttypen (bzw. für den Winter), es ist ein eher kühler Bronzer, der nicht so dunkel ist.
Sun Bunny ist ein warmeer Braunton, der auch für dunklere Hauttypen geeignet ist oder eben für den Sommer, wenn der Bronzer ruhig etwas intensiver sein kann.
Pink Leopard ist sehr schimmernd und kann daher auch gut als Highlighter verwendet werden.
Ich habe eher helle bis mittlere Haut und kann im Sommer alle 3 Bronzer gut tragen. Sun Bunny ist am stärksten pigmentiert, Snow Bunny und Pink Leopard sind eher sheer.
Die Verpackung ist sehr verspielt, detailreich und einfach ein Hingucker. Neben dem überraschend guten Pinsel hat die Palette auch einen kleinen Spiegel im Deckel.
Die Bronzer sind auch einzeln erhältlich und kosten dann jeweils ca. $28 (ca. 23€). Die LE Palette gibt es für $35 (ca. 29€). Ich finde das Set eine tolle Idee um die Bronzer von Too Faced mal auszuprobieren.

Würde ich den Bronzer wieder kaufen?
Ja, auch wenn ich nicht täglich zu schimmernden Bronzern greife, finde ich diese hier doch sehr "tragbar". Wenn ich mal Lust auf ein bisschen mehr Schimmer im Bronzer habe, finde ich dieses Set ideal, gerade auch weil man die Wahl zw. 3 Bronzern hat. Snow Bunny und Pink Leopard sind außerdem auch als Highlighter gut einsetzbar. Und mal im Ernst, wer kann an dieser süßen Verpackung vorbei gehen?

The limited edition bronzer palette from Too Faced includes three of their bestselling bronzers: Snow Bunny (0.14 oz.), Sun Bunny (0.08 oz.)and Pink Leopard (0.08 oz.)as well as a flatbuki (which is actually a really good and extremly soft brush). All bronzers are shimmery. Snow Bunny is for lighter skinned ladies or for winter. It is a rather cool shade. Sun Bunny is the darker version of Snow Bunny and a lot warmer. Pink Leopard has the most shimmer in it and can thus also be worn as a highlighter. Sun Bunny is the most pigmented out of the three bronzers, Snow Bunny and Pink Leopard are a lot more sheer. I am fair skinned and can wear all three shades in summer when I am fair to medium skinned. I really like the packaging of this palette. It is very cute with a lot of details, a (small) mirror and the cute and also good brush. All bronzers are also sold as individuals for $ 28 each. The palette is $35.

Would I repurchase?
Yes, even though I don't use shimmery bronzers that often, these are very wearable. It is also great that you have a selection of 3 different bronzers in one set. Since you can use snow bunny and pink leopard as highlighter it is definitely worth it's money. And please Ladies who could resist this packaging? ;)

Too Faced Aqua Bunny Bronzer:
Der Aqua Bunny Bronzer von Too Faced ist erst in der 2010 Kollektion rausgekommen und daher noch recht neu. Da er sowohl bei Sephora als auch bei Makeupalley sehr gute Kritiken bekommen hat, bin ich neugierig geworden und hab mir einen bestellt.
Wie bei den meisten Too Faced Produkten ist auch hier die Verpackung ein echter Hingucker. Die Dose ist mit süßen Verzierungen geschmückt, in der Innen Seite ist ein Spiegel, auf dem das Too Faced steht und "Why be pretty when you can be gorgeous?" :) Unter dem Bronzer ist noch ein flacher Pinsel (fan brush) zum Auftragen. Es gibt hier nur eine Farbe zur Auswahl. Der Bronzer sieht erstmal ziemlich dunkel aus, lässt jedoch gut verblenden, sodass auch hellere Hauttypen (so wie ich) damit klar kommen sollten. Die Farbe lässt sich jedoch auch problemlos intensivieren indem man mehr Produkt aufträgt.
Ich persönlich habe es nicht fertig gebracht den mitgelieferten Pinsel zum Auftragen einzusetzten. Ich habe einfach das Produkt mit meinen Fingern auf die Stellen im Gesicht aufgetrupgt, wo ich Bronzer haben möchte und ihn anschließend mit den Fingern verblendet. Sicher eignet sich hierfür auch ein SS188 bzw. so ziemlich jeder Pinsel den man auch zum cream blush auftragen verwendet. Das Auftragen war zwar ungewohnt, aber ging eigentlich ziemlich gut. Auch das Ergebnis hat mir gut gefallen, ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass es so natürlich wirken würde. Ich habe trockene- mischhaut, daher kann ich nicht sagen, ob jemand mit öliger Haut mit dem Produkt klar kommt. Gerade für den Sommer(urlaub) finde ich das Produkt gelungen, da es sowohl Hitze als auch Wasserspritzern stand hält. Schade nur, dass es keinen SPF hat.
Ebenso wie der Bronzer von Essence, hat dieser Bronzer einen leichten Sommer/Kokusnussduft, den ich als sehr angenehm finde. Der Bronzer schimmert nicht, matt würde ich ihn jedoch auch nicht bezeichnen. Die cremekonsitenz sorgt für ein dewy finish, nicht glänzend, nicht feucht, aber einfach ein frischer Look, der eben nicht matt wirkt...(Schwer zu beschreiben ;) )

Würde ich den Bronzer wieder kaufen?
Ja. Ich werde den Bronzer vorwiegend an sehr heißen Tagen und am Stand/Pool tragen, so wird er mir eine Weile halten und kann seinem Zweck gerecht werden. Ebenso wie beim Essence Bronzer ist das Auftragen schon wegen dem Duft eine Freude!

The Aqua Bunny Bronzer is the newest Too Faced bronzer that was released this year. It is a cream-to-powder water resistant bronzer that is suppost to be long lasting as well as heat and humidity resistant. It got really good reviews at makeupalley.com and Sephora.com so I wanted to try it myself. Like most Too Faced packagings also this one is really cute. It has a little design at the edge of the packaging and a mirror inside which says: "Why be pretty when you can be gorgeous?" Unterneath the cream bronzer there is an extra case which holds a fan brush. When I first saw the bronzer I was kind of scared because it looks really dark. The Aqua Bunny Bronzer only comes in this one color and is suppost to complement all skin tones. So what choice did I have- I gave it a try...and it really does complement all skin tones. It can be applied lightly and blend very well so lighter skinned people can wear it but it is also buildable. You kind of have to get used to a cream bronzer. I couldn't really get the fan brush to work for me. I acutally put little dots of produtc on my face where I want to apply the bronzer and than blend it in with my fingers. A SS188 would probably also work well actually any brush you use for cream blush will work with this bronzer. I like the result I get and I think it is smart to make a bronzer splash and especially heat resistant. I just don't know if people with oily skin will like this bronzer, I have dry-combination skin and it works well for me. The Bronzer is not shimmery but I also wouldn't call it matt. Because of it's cream to powder consistance it gives you a really dewy look. This product is not sticky or anything when you've applied it. It has the same summery coconutty scent like the Essence Bronzer which I really like. :)

Would I repurchase?
Yes. I will mostly use this bronzer when it is super hot and I'm at the beach / pool. Otherwise it would just be a waste of this rather expensive product. This way it will probably last me a long while and serve its purpose the best. Great idea such a splash and heat resistant cream bronzer!

Swatches:
The swatches won't say anything about the pigmentation: For example I had to do a lot of swipes before the Essence Bronzer showed up and only one swipe for the Stila one to show up. The Aqua Bunny bronzer looks rather unnatural in this picture, that's because I have not blended it before I took this picture.
