Benefit Top Brass Creaseless Cream Shadow Liner

Ich habe neulich ein "Sephora Exclusive" Produkt bei Douglas in der Sale-Ecke entdeckt. Ein bisschen ironisch finde ich es ja schon, dass Douglas Produkte mit einem Sephora-Exclusive-Sticker drauf verkauft. Wie dem auch sei, es handelt sich hierbei um ein Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow Liner in der Farbe Top Brass, der statt 19,95€ nur 14,95€ gekostet hat. Ich bin ein großer Fan der Creaseless Cream Shadow Liner und der reduzierte Preis hat mich dazu bewogen eine Farbe zu testen, die sonst nicht in mein klassisches Beuteschema fällt. Top Brass wird auf der Sephora-Seite als "golden copper" beschrieben und das trifft es ganz gut. Ein goldener Kupferton. Die Farbe gefällt mir besser, als ich ursprünglich dachte, da sie einen tollen Kontrast zu meinen grün-blauen Augen darstellt.

I recently found a "Sephora Exclusive" product in the sale corner of my local Douglas. I thought it was a bit ironic to have a "Sephora Exclusive" sticker on a product sold at Douglas. But oh well... I am talking about a Creaseless Cream Shadow Liner from Benefit in the color Top Brass which was reduced from 19,95€ to 14,95€. I love the Creaseless Cream Shadow Liners from Benefit and the great deal was the reason I got this specific color which is not typically a shade I would go for. Sephora describes it as a golden copper and I couldn't describe it any better. The shade has already grown on me as it is a great contrast to my blue-green eyes.

Benefit Sugarbomb

Kurz vor Weihnachten habe ich einen noch unberührten Sugarbomb Blush von Benefit bei Kleiderkreisel ertauscht. Ich habe zwar einige Benefit Blushes in Minigröße aus diversen Sets, jedoch ist dies mein erste Fullsize Blush von Benefit (abgesehen von einer über Ebay ersteigerten Fälschung von Dandelion).

Right before Christmas I got the Benefit Sugarbomb in a swap at Kleiderkreisel . I have a couple of Benefit blushes in mini versions from differents sets. But aside from a fake from Ebay (Dandelion) this is my first fullsize Benefit blush.

Der Blush, ist wie für Benefit Blushes üblich in einem kleinen Karton. Dieser Blush besteht aus 4 verschiedenen Farben, die jedoch nur schwer einzeln aufgetragen werden können. Sugarbomb wird von Benefit als Face Powder bezeichnet, das man sowohl als Blush als auch auf dem ganzen Gesicht auftragen kann. Wie ihr an den Swatches sehen werdet, ist dieses Produkt wirklich eher für Hellhäutige als Blush zu gebrauchen. Ich kann Sugarbomb ganz gut als Blush anwenden. Es gibt einen sehr schönen Glow und ein bisschen Farbe. Auf dem ganzen Gesicht würde ich das Produkt daher auch nicht auftragen. Vor allem im Sommer werde ich sicher noch häufiger zu Sugarbomb greifen. :)

As usual this Benefit blush comes in a little cardbord box. There are four different shades in the box but since they each take up to little space you can't really apply them individual unless you use a really small brush. Benefit says you can either apply this product on your cheeks or your entire face. This product gives a wonderful glow and a hint of color. I can use it as a blush because I am pale enough. But if you are darker than NC 20 the color probably won't really show off. Since it does give me some color and a wonderful glow I woulnd't use it on my entire face. Especially in summer time I will probably use Sugarbomb a lot.

First I swatched each shade by itself starting with the top one going clockwise. The last swatch is all shades swirled together.

Wie gefällt euch das Produkt? Mit 32,95€ sind die Benefit Blushes, trotz der tollen Qualität, schon wirklich sehr teuer. Daher finde ich, dass sich die Minisets immer sehr lohnen. Alle "gängigen" Farben wie Hoola, Dallas, Coralista, Bella Bamba und Dandelion habe ich in einer kleinen Version, die mir als Blushliebhaberin völlig ausreicht. Erst sobald ich eines Tages eine heißgeliebte Miniversion aufgebraucht haben sollte, werde ich mir überlegen eine Fullsize zu kaufen.

How do you like Sugarbomb? I really like the Benefit Blushes but especially in Europe they are extremely expensive (32,95€). Thus I really like the mini blush sets. Since I own a mini version of Hoola, Dallas, Coralista, Bella Bamba and Dandelion I never had the urge to get a fullsize. If I should ever runout of one of these I will maybe consider getting a fullsize. But since I am a blush lover I own so many blushes that I doubt that I will be able to finish a blush anytime soon. ;)

Essence Vampire's Love Blush Gelee vs. Benefit's Benetint

Neben den Nagellacken, durfte auch das blush gelee in den Einkaufskorb. Die Verpackung ist schon mal sehr gelungen. Ein Pumpspender ist immer praktisch und hygienisch. 13ml haben 2,49€ gekostet.

Next to the nail polish I also got the blush gelee from the Vampire's Love LE. I already liked the packaging because it has a pump which is really handy and sanitary. 13 ml are only 2,49€.

Das Blush Gelee hat wie der Name schon sagt eine Gel-Konsistenz, die ich sehr praktisch finde. Ein kleiner Klecks reicht schon für beide Wangen aus.

The blush gelee has a jelly (=gelee in German) consistency. A tiny bit is enough for both cheeks.

Das Blush Gelee lässt sich gut verteilen. Das Gelee zieht nach kurzer Zeit ein und hinterlässt kein klebriges Hautgefühl. Die Farbe finde ich sehr natürlich.

The blush gelee ist really easy to apply. The gelee does not leave a sticky feeling on your skin once it is applied. The color is really natural.

Im Vergleich zu Benefits Benetint, das sehr ähnlich funktioniert, ist das Blush Gelee von der Farbe her etwas beeriger. Das Essence Produkt ist aufgrund der Gel-Konsistenz einfacher aufzutragen als das flüssige Produkt von Benefit. Mit 12,5 ml beinhaltet Benetint fast soviel Produkt wie das Blush Gelee jedoch zu einem deutlich höheren Preis (32,95€).

Compared to Benefit's Benetint the blush gelee from Essence works the same. Benetint is slightly more pink whereas the blush gelee is more of a berry-pink. I prefer the gel consistency of the Essence blush over the liquid Benetint because it is just a lot easier to apply. Benetint contains 12.5 ml which is almost as much as the blush gelee but for a much higher price. But to be fair I think Benetint will last you longer. Anyway I really like the blush gelee :)

Auch wenn das Essence blush gelee auf dem vorherigen Bild blasser aussieht als das Benetint, liegt das nur an dem Lichtwinkel, sie sind beide in etwa gleich intensiv.

Benetint just appears to be more color intense in the picture above. They have about the same pigmentation.

Auch ich bin ein Opfer -Benefit POWda WOWza

Nachdem ich euch hier schon von dem Release der Blush/Bronzer Palette von Benefit berichtet hatte, bin natürlich auch ich ein Opfer geworden. Der Preis ist wirklich ok, da man in etwa für den Preis eines Fullsize Produktes drei Produkte á 3g zum Testen bekommt. Da ich sowieso selten bis nie einen Blush leer kriege, finde ich die 3g noch immer reichlich. Wie auch schon andere, wie z.B. Clau Miau auf ihrem Blog festgestellt haben, finde auch ich, dass vor allem die zwei Blushes eher etwas für hellere Mädels sind. Da ich mich da dazuzählen "darf", komm ich mit den Farben gut klar. Obwohl mir die Produkte gut gefallen, muss ich bisher sagen, dass ich den enormen Hype um die Benefit Blushes nicht ganz gerechtfertigt finde. Ich liebe Blush und habe mittlerweile eine wirklich große Sammlung. Keiner der drei Blushes/Bronzer im Trio hat für mich bisher Favoriten-Charakter.

I also got the POWda WOWza Trio from Benefit. I think the price is fair. You get 3g each of 3 different blushes/ a bronzer for about the price of one fullsize product. Since I almost never finish a fullsize product anyway it is a good deal for me. As other bloggers have mentioned I agree that the products in the trio are better suitable for paler girls. I am rather pale so they work well for me. Even though I like all three products in the set I don't really think the hype about these products is justifiable. I love blush and cheek products and my collection has become rather big and to be honest non of the cheek products in this set has become a favorite so far.

Barry M Natural Dazzle

Mein Lieblingsbronzer. Der Barry M Natural Dazzle

Es gibt ihn in zwei Ausführungen als loses Puder oder als Kompaktpuder. Ich bevorzuge die Kompaktpuderversion (man sieht es ihm leider auch an). Sie unterscheiden sich komischerweise auch leicht in der Farbe.

It comes as a compact or as loose powder. You can tell, that I prefer the compact. They also have a slightly different color (for whatever reason)

Jetzt wird es kompliziert. Ursprünglich hatte ich nur den Bronzer einmal gepresste Version (5. Swatch) einmal loose Version (6. Swatch) geswatched. Da mich dieser Bronzer schon immer etwas an den Benefit Blush in Dallas erinnert hat, habe ich das mal dazu geswatched (1. Swatch). Der Barry M Bronzer ist aber ein Tick bräunlicher als Dallas. Also habe ich daneben Hoola von Benefit (2. Swatch) geswatched. Weil der Barry M Bronzer wenn man ihn zu dick swatched d.h. in diesem Fall einen Brocken Puder verreibt, anders wirkt, nämlich wesentlich dunkler (das ist der Fall beim 5. Swatch), habe ich neben Hoola (2. Swatch) noch einmal das Barry M gepresste Puder "dünner" geswatched (3. Swatch). Danach habe ich dann Dallas mit Hoola gemischt geswatched (4. Swatch). *Haha* Sind alle mitgekommen?

Wie man sieht trifft die Mischung Dallas+Hoola nicht ganz das Ergebnis vom Barry M. Ich denke man müsste Dallas mit einem anderen Braunton mischen. Hoola ist zu ocker. Oder man kauft einfach direkt den Barry M Bronzer er ist nämlich einfach super :)

Er hat keinen Schimmer aber trotzdem einen Glow (ganz schwer zu beschreiben). Ich benutze ihn quasi täglich zum konturieren. Er ist super super fest gepresst und wird (wenn er einem nicht gerade runterfällt und dabei kaputt geht ) ewig halten. Die Verpackung ist übrigend exakt wie bei Narsprodukten gummiert.

Hier nochmal übersichtlicher:

Dallas, Hoola, Barry M Compact (dünn), Dallas+Hoola, Barry M Compact (dick), Barry M Looses Puder

Now this complicated. First I only swatched the Barry M Compact (5th Swatch) and the loose powder (6. Swatch). Since I always thought the Barry M Bronzer looked a little like Benefits Dallas I swatched that (1st Swatch). But the Bronzer is slightly more brown than Dallas, so I also swatched Hoola (2nd Swatch). Because I used a huge chunk of Barry M Compact when I did the 5th Swatch it looks a lot darker than it usually is. Thanks why I swatched it again this time I used my finger and applied it thinner (3rd Swatch). Then I swatched a mix of Dallas and Hoola next to it (4th Swatch). *Haha* Did everybody follow me sofar?!

Well the Dallas Hoola combination does not look like the Barry M Bronzer. Hoola is too ocher you would have to use a different shade of brown / bronzer to mix Dallas to get the Barry M Bronzer. Or just get the Barry M Bronzer right away because it is awesome :)

The Bronzer doesn't have shimmer but it glows anyway (it's hard to discribe the finish, I'd say it is the most like satin) It is super tightly pressed. And unless you break it, like I did, it will probably last you forever! I use it to contour almost everyday. It has the same packaging like Nars products.

Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner

Nachdem ich euch hier meine Lieblinge von Michael Todd vorgestellt habe, möchte ich euch heute auch meine Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner von Benefit vorstellen.

Von der Qualität her stehen sich die beiden Produkte in nichts nach. Beide sind für mich gleich gut und vor allem halten sie im Gegensatz zu sehr vielen Cremelidschattenprodukten das was sie versprechen, nämlich Haltbarkeit und kein Absetzen in der Lidfalte!

Ich habe die Farben Sippin'n Dippin, Carte Blanche und Birthday Suit.

Sippin'n Dippin ist ein intensiver Peach-/Goldton, den ich erst seit kurzem habe. Ich kann ihn mir toll für den Sommer vorstellen.

Carte Blanche ist ein warmer schimmernder Braunton.

Birthday Suit ist ein Champagnerton. Von Birthday suit habe ich nur eine Deluxe Sample, also nicht die Originalgröße, die ist aber auch ausreichend und wird mir noch eine ganze Weile ausreichen...

After I have showed you my Cream Shadows from Michael Todd here, I now want to show you my Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liners. I think they are both equal in quality and most important they are 2 Cream Shadow/Liner products out of a million that actually live up to their promise. They both last really well and don't crease.

I own the Benefit Creaseless Cream's in Sippin'n Dippin, Carte Blanche and Birthday Suit.

Sippin'n Dippin is a peach/gold color that can look orangy. I am not a big orange fan, but I thing this color will look nice in summer. (It's my most recent purchase).

Carte Blanche is a warm shimmery medium brown. I like to use this one as a base a lot.

Birthday Suit is a champage color. I only have it in a deluxe sample size and not the fullsize, but that will still last me quite a bit.

Der Vollständigkeit halber möchte ich euch auch noch meinen letzten Favoriten in Sachen Creme Shadow/Liner vorstellen. Er ist von Smashbox und zwar die Farbe Fan Club.

Es ist für mich das perfekte Taupe (Braun/Grau) und eine tolle Alternative zu Benefit's Skinny Jeans, das einen Hauch mehr silver/grau ist als Smashbox's Fan Club.

For the sake of completeness I also want to show you another of my favorite Creme Shadow/Liner products. It's from Smashbox and it's the color Fan Club.

It is the perfect taupy brown/grey mixture and a great alternative to Benefit's Skinny Jeans which is slightly more silver/grey than Smashbox's Fan Club.

P2 Open your eyes! vs. Benefit Eye Bright

P2 hat seit Anfang dieses Monats sein Sortiment erweitert. Ich habe mir heute die verschiedenen Produkte beim DM Markt angeschaut und das ein oder andere durfte dann auch mit. Ich habe schon ein wenig mit den Produkten gespielt und möchte euch jetzt meine ersten Eindrücke geben...

P2 is a German Drugstore brand. They just released a new range of products. Most of theses products seem to be based on some highend products. They released for example a makuep fix spray, a high definition foundation, a eye brightener, face and lip primers...

I got a chance to look at the new products today and bought some of them to give them a try. Now I am going to talk about some of my first impressions. P2's Open up your eyes Brightener reminds me a lot of Benefits Eye Bright which I like a lot. I had to get this one to compare the two ;)

Im neuen Sortiment ist ein "Open your eyes" Brightener, der stark an den Eye Bright von Benefit erinnert. Da ich diesen auch besitze und sehr gerne nutze, musste ich das zuhause sofort mal vergleichen...

Die Stifte sind ungefähr gleich lang, der von P2 ist jedoch ein gutes Stück dicker. Eine Mengenangabe konnte ich auf dem Brightener von P2 jedoch keine finden. Der Eye Bright von Benefit beinhaltet 1,4g. Preislich liegt der von P2 mit nur 2,25€ deutlich unter dem Preis von Benefit Eye Bright, den er für 19,50€ gibt.

Von der Konsistenz sind beide Stifte auf den ersten Eindruck recht ähnlich. Sie sind beide cremig und lassen sich auch gut verteilen. Farblich unterscheiden sie sich jedoch leicht. Der Brightener von P2 ist mehr bläulich rosa, wohingegen der Eye Bright von Benefit eher milchig rosa ist. Inwiefern das den Brightening-Effekt positiv oder negativ beeinflusst kann ich noch nicht sagen. Auch über die Haltbarkeit kann ich bisher noch nichts sagen.

Erster Eindruck: Positiv

Both pencils have about the same length. The pencil from P2 is thicker than the Eye Bright from Benefit. But there is a huge difference in price. Benefits eye bright is $20 whereas the P2 Brightener is less than $3.

The consistency seems to be pretty similar. They are both creamy and easy to blend. Only the color is slightly different. The P2 Brightener is slightly more bluish pink whereas the Eye Bright from Benefit is more of a milky pink. Since I have not really had the chance to use the p2 brightener I can't really say if or how this effects the brightening -effect. At this point in time I also can't say anything about the lasting power of the p2 product.

First impression: Positive
