Tarte Achiote Collection

Das Tarte Achiote Set war dieses Frühjahr / Sommer ein limitiertes Set von Tarte. Im Set waren drei Produkte in Originalgröße erhalten: Einen Amazonian Clay Blush ($25), einen Lipsurgence ($24) und ein Maracuja devine shine lip gloss ($21). Da man für das Set nur $42 statt dem Gesamtpreis der Einzelprodukte von $70 zahlt, macht man hier ein ganz gutes Geschäft. Achiote bzw. auf deutsch auch Annattostrauch, Orleansstrauch oder Rukustrauch genannt ist ein Strauch ist ein Strauch der in Südamerika wächst. Die Samen seiner Früchte kommen zum Färben von Textilien, als Tinte, aber auch zur Körperbemalung von Einheimischen zum Einsatz. Der Spitzname des Strauches lautet auch Lippenstift-Baum. Tarte hat den Farbstoff der Samen dieses Strauches in den Produkten der Achiote Kollektion verwendet. 

For $42 you receive a three fullsized Tarte products: Amazonian Clay Blush, Lipsurgence and a Maracuja devine shine lip gloss. The total price of all the products bought individually would habe been $70 thus the set is a pretty good deal. Achiote is known as mother nature’s lipstick tree.  It’s a tree found in South America which produces a vibrant pink fruit.  The pure pigment obtained from the seeds of that fruit is what Tarte infused into these products.

Da ich ohnehin ein ganz großer Fan der Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes bin und ich die Blush Farbe, die es nicht einzeln zu kaufen gab, so toll fand, musste gleich das ganze Set bei mir einziehen. Ich habe es nicht bereut, denn auch die Lippenprodukte sind sehr schön und angenehm zu tragen. Der Lipsurgence natural lip luster erinnert etwas an die Clinique Cubby Sticks, jedoch mit leichter Minznote. Der Gloss funktioniert mit einem Klickmechanismus. Er hat ebenfalls eine leichte Minznote. Maracuj-Öl soll die Lippen pflegen.

Since I am a huge fan of the Amazonian Clay Blushes and the color Achiote, which was only available in this set, looked so pretty, I had to have the set. I don't regret the purchase. This was I got to try two other products from Tarte. Their lipsurgence lip luster reminds me a little of the Clinique Cubby Sticks with a slight mint flavour. The lipgloss which works with a click mechanism also has a mint flavour and maracuja oil is suppost to nourish your lips. I like the texture and the look of the lip products.

Essence Peach Punk vs. Bobbi Brown Calypso Coral

Als ich neulich die Rebels LE von Essence gesichtet hatte, erinnerte mich der lip & cheek pot in der Farbe Peach Punk doch sehr an den Bobbi Brown pot rouge in Calypso Coral. Zunächst einmal ist hier natürlich ein gehöriger Preisunterschied. Drogerie 7g für 2,45€ im Vergleich zu High-End 3,7g für 24,95€. 

Der direkte Vergleich zeige, dass sich die Produkte nicht nur hinsichtlich ihres Preises deutlich unterscheiden. Essence Peach Punk ist plump gesagt einfach Orange, wohingegen Calypso Coral eindeutig mehr Pink und Rot Anteile hat und dadurch zum klassischen Korallton wird. Ein weiterer Unterschied ist die Pigmentierung und die Konsistenz. Das Essence Produkt erinnert mich sehr an die Sleek Pout Polishes. Im Vergleich zum Bobbi Brown pot rouge ist der lip and cheek pot sehr dezent pigmentiert und von der Konsistenz sehr cremig bzw. glossig. Der BB pot rouge ist wesentlich fester und stärker pigmentiert. Beide Produkte eigenen sich laut Hersteller sowohl für die Wangen als auch für die Lippen. Aufgrund der Konsistenz würde ich jedoch sagen, dass sich das Essence Produkt eher für die Lippen eignet wohingegen das Bobbi Brown Produkt eher für die Wangen geeignet ist. Aufgrund der festen Konsistenz brauch man unter dem BB pot rouge viel Lippenpflege, damit das Produkt die Lippen nicht austrocknet. Das eher glossige Produkt von Essence ist da viel angenehmer auf den Lippen. Umgekehrt finde ich es auf den Wangen angenehmer, wenn das Produkt nicht so glossig ist. Insbesondere, da man bei dem schwächer pigmentierten Essence lip and cheek pot deutlich mehr Produkt benötigt als bei BB. 

Ich finde beide Produkte gut. Ich finde jedoch die Farbe Calypso Coral etwas interessanter und schöner als Peach Punk. Dazu kommt noch die Tatsache, dass ich Lippenprodukte lieber in Stiftform statt in kleinen Pöttchen mag, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Trotz der vermeintlichen Ähnlichkeit haben die Produkte aus meiner Sicht kaum Gemeinsamkeiten. Ich bereue es demnach auch nicht mir das teurere Produkt gekauft zu haben.

When I recently saw the latest limited edition from Essence I thought that the lip & cheek pot in peach punk (part of that LE) looked a lot like the Bobbi Brown pot rouge in calypso coral. Thus I compared them at home.

First of all there is a huge price difference. The drugstore product is only 2,45€ and you get 7g /0.24oz whereas the highend version is 24,95€ for only 3,7g / 0.13 oz of product. Besides the price difference they also don't have the same color when you see them side by side. Peach Punk is a true orange whereas calypso coral has a lot more pink and red in it which makes it a true coral. They also vary in texture and pigmentation. Essence lip and cheek pot reminds me a lot of Sleek's lip pout polishes. It is a lot less pigmented compared to the BB version and also a lot glossier. BB pot rouge is a lot harder in texture and also a lot more pigmented. Even though they are both meant to be for lips and cheeks I find that the BB pot rouge is a bit too drying on the lips thus you need a lot of lip balm underneath. The glossier Essence product is easier to wear on your lips. On the other hand I don't like glossy products on my cheek especially since you will need quite a lot of product to achieve the same pigmentation as with the BB pot rouge. I like both products however I think calypso coral is a more interesting color than peach punk. I am also not a huge fan of lip products in a pot. I thus don't regret buying the more expensive product since I guess I'll get a lot more joy out of it.

Bei mir ist jetzt Frühling!

Der Esprit Nagellack in Rosewood ist schon länger in meinem Besitz, um genau zu sein, seit Esprit Make-up letztes Jahr seinen Ausverkauf bei DM hatte. Zum Einsatz kam er jedoch erst jetzt. Mir ist bisher offen gestanden entgangen wie schön dieser Lack ist. Ein tolles frisches Pink mit Korall-Einschlag. Ein toller Lack für den Frühling wie ich finde. Auf dem Bild seht ihr eine Schicht, eine zweite hätte jedoch nicht geschadet. Kombiniert habe ich dazu den Tickled Pink Blush von Catrice aus der "Expect the unexpected" LE von Catrice (Sept. 2010), sowie den Anti Aging Lipgloss von Alverde in der Farbe Pink Melon (ich befürchte mittlerweile nicht mehr im Sortiment). Der Lipgloss ist übrigens einer meiner Favoriten. Er fühlt sich sehr pflegend an und klebt nicht. Obwohl er so knallig aussieht, ist er bei dezentem Auftrag sehr alltagstauglich und verleiht den Lippen eine schöne Frische ohne dabei zu geschminkt auszusehen. Ein bisschen wie Benetint in Lipgloss-Form. Wirklich schade, dass er nicht mehr im Sortiment ist. Die Farben passen wie ich finde alle toll zu dem Blütenschal von H&M. Der Frühling kann kommen.

Seid ihr auch schon in Frühlingsstimmung?

Lately I am in a spring mood. Thus I reach for brighter colors than I did before. I didn't get anything new but shopped my collection this time. I have had the Esprit nail polish in Rosewood since last year when Esprit Makeup was discontinued. I have not used it so far and now that I did I wonder why? It is a beautiful fresh pink with a slight corally hint. I combined it with a very bright pink blush from a Catrice in Tickled Pink from their "Expect the unexpected" limited edition (Sept. 2010). As well as a Alverde Anti-Aging Lipgloss in the color Pink Melon which is unfortunately not sold anymore. This lipgloss is one of my favorites. It looks rather bright and intense in the packaging but it is very wearable and just makes you look fresh and healthy without making you look like you are wearing too much makeup. I combined the makeup-look with a floral scarf from H&M.

Clarins All About Lips

Das Clarins Set All About Lips ist eine schöne Weihnachtsgeschenk-Idee oder eben ein schönes Geschenk an sich selbst. ;) Da ich bisher nur Gutes über die Lippenprodukte aus diesem Set (Colour Quench Lip Balm und Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector) gehört habe, habe ich die Gelegenheit genutzt und das Set bei feelunique zum testen bestellt.

Enthalten sind 2x7ml Colour Quench Lip Balm und 2x5ml Natural Lip Perfector.

Die Farben finde ich sehr gut ausgewählt, da sie jedem stehen dürften.

I recently got this Clarins All About Lips Set which I think would make a wonderful Christmas present as well. Since I have heard a lot of positive things about the lip products included in this set I was very excited to get to try them this way. There are 2 Colour Quench Lip Balms and 2 Natural Lip Perfectors in this set. The colors are very wearable.

Die Natural Lip Perfecor Tuben haben einen kleinen Schwamm- /Schaumstoffapplikator, wohingegen die Colour Quench Lip Balms einen klassischen angeschrägten (?), wie nennt man das denn? Naja, ihr seht es auf dem Bild und wisst bestimmt wovon ich rede ;)

Kosmetik Kosmo Order

Bei Kosmetik Kosmo kann man noch bis Ende des Monats versandkostenfrei bestellen :) Schon sein längerem wollte ich mal ein paar der Produkte aus der eigenen Produktlinie testen, also habe ich die Gelegenheit genutzt und mir den Nagellack in Silberbaum und den Lipgloss in Patricia bestellt. Gratis dazu gab es ein Nagelrad, worüber ich mich sehr gefreut habe, denn es ist tatsächlich mein erstes Nagelrad :)

Until the end of the month July you don't have to pay shipping costs within Germany in an online store called Kosmetik Kosmo. They have a ot of fun products and they also started to sell their own make-up. I have been wanting to try their own brand for a while so I was happy to save the shipping. I got a lipgloss in Patricia and a nail polish called Silberbaum. I also got a free nail wheel which I was very happy about because I actually never owned one ;)

Lipgloss:

Aber zunächst zum Lipgloss. Die Textur ist super angenehm. Der Lipgloss klebt nicht ist aber auch nicht zu flüssig. Ich habe mich außerdem über die Deckkraft gefreut. Die meisten hellen Lipglosse decken eher schlecht als recht. Das war hier zum Glück nicht der Fall. Der Lipgloss riecht nach Karamel. Ich persönlich bin kein so großer Fan von Karamel, kann aber mit dem Duft leben. Für Karamelfans sicher toll, da der Duft auch nicht so künstlich ist. Ein wenig seltsam fand ich jedoch die ganz kleinen braunen / schwarzen Pünktchen im Lipgloss, die ihr beim vergrößern ganz gut erkennen könnt. Ist jetzt nichts wirklich schlimmes und auf den Lippen fällt es quasi nicht auf, aber etwas komisch ist es schon. Erinnert mich etwas an Bourbon Vanille ;)

The lipgloss has a great texture. It is not sticky and not to liquid. I also like that it is pretty pigmented compared to most light pink lipglosses I own. It smells like caramel. I am not a huge fan of caramel but for those who like it that would probably be a plus. I can handle it so it's not that bad. The only somewhat weird thing is that there are tiny dark spots in the lipgloss. You can't really see them once the lipgloss is applied but it is weird nevertheless. If you click the picture you can see them pretty well.

Nagellack:

Der Silberbaum Nagellack gefällt mir gut. Ich habe ihn gleich auf dem Nagelrad getestet ;) Ich hätte mir ihn ein bisschen deckender gewünscht, die erste Schicht war doch recht sheer, aber vielleicht liegt das auch am Nagelrad, ich kenn mich da ja noch nicht so gut aus.. Die Farbe ist toll, genau mein Ding. Ein schön schimmernder, kühler Taupeton.

Der Farbton hat mich gleich an Essie Chinchilly erinnert. Der Versuch aus Essie Chinchilly als Basecoat und dem (ehemaligen) P2 Stormy als Topcoat Silberbaum zu zaubern, hat jedoch nicht wirklich geklappt. Umso besser, dass spricht für seine Einmaligkeit ;) Chinchilly ist schon die richtige Ausgangsfarbe nur ist Stormy zu hell und der Schimmer geht in die falsche Richtung.

I really like the color of this polish it is a pretty coold toned taupe color. I already swatched it on the nail wheel. The first coat was a little sheer but the second made it look good.

The color reminded me of Essie Chinchilly. I tried to dupe it with Essie Chinchilly as a base coat and a discontinued P2 polish in Stormy on top. But even though Chinchilly seemed to be the right base coat Stormy is too light and the shimmer is a little different. So it seems like I don't have a color like Silberbaum :)

Too Faced Glamour to go

Von Too Faced gibt es die "Glamour to go" Palettenreihe. Super Praktisch für unterwegs befinden sich in der in etwa kreditkartengroßen Palette 8 Lidschatten und in einer versteckten Schublade Wangen und Lippenprodukte. Im Deckel ist jeweils ein Spiegel. Applikatoren (die ja dann meistens doch keiner benutzt) sind nicht enthalten. Kostenpunkt $20. Wer geruchsempfindlich ist, sollte sich die Paletten jedoch nicht zulegen. Sie riechen ähnlich wie MAC Lippenstifte nach Vanille.

Too Faced has a range of creditcard sized palettes called "Glamour to go". They come with 8 eyesahdows, lipgloss and cheek products. I think they are really convenient to have! The lid has a mirror but they don't contain any applicators (which usually nobody uses anyway). They are about $20. I really like the scent of the products they smell a little like vanilla or MAC lipsticks.

Glamour to go II

Aber ich fand mal der Reihe nach an oben auf den Bildern in der Mitte ist die erste Palette in dieser Reihe Glamour to go II (Ob es jemals eine I gab, konnte ich nicht herausfinden). Um ehrlich zu sein ist diese II Palette auch direkt mein Favorit von den dreien. Die Farben sind sehr natürlich und alltagstauglich. Die Lidschatten können etwas krümeln, aber in Maßen. Die Pigmentierung stimmt und alles in allem finde ich die Qualität der Lidschatten gut. Die Lipglosse geben einen schönen Schimmer auf die Lippen. Die Farbabgabe ist hier nicht besonders hoch und sie kleben ein wenig. Der Blush ist ebenfalls ein Highlight in der Palette, ein schöner Pfirsichton mit ganz dezentem Goldschimmer (vermutlich Papa don't Peach aus dem Standartsortiment), den man aufgetragen jedoch kaum wahrnimmt.

This is the first palette I know from the Glamour to Go range. I have never seen a No. I so I am not quite sure if that ever existed?! Well this is also my favorite palette out of the three. It has really pretty wearable colors. The quality is pretty good. The colors are pigmented but they have a little of fallout but nothing crazy. The lipglosses are not that pigmented but they give a nice sheen. They are however a little sticky. I love the blush it is a pretty peachy shade with subtle gold shimmer (Papa don't peach?).

Glamour to go III

Zu dieser Palette greife ich vergleichsweise am seltensten. Die Qualität der Lidschatten ist hier sehr unterschiedlich. Der Schimmer im Lidschatten in dieser Palette zum Teil etwas zu grob für meinen Geschmack. Dennoch enthält die Palette zwei Favoriten Lidschatten 2 und 4 in der oberen Reihe sind wirklich gelungen. Die Lipgloss sind von der selben Qualität wie in der ersten Palette kaum pigmentiert und etwas klebrig. Die oberen 2 entsprechen nicht meinem Geschmack die unteren zwei sind ok, wenn man mal unterwegs ist und sonst nix mit hat. Ansonsten greife ich jedoch nicht dazu. Der Blush gefällt mir auch hier sehr gut. Ein frisches pink mit dezentem goldenem Schimmer, den Schimmer nimmt man auch hier aufgetragen kaum wahr.

This is my least favorite palette of the three. The quality of the eyeshadows are besides a few not that great. The shimmer in most of them is a little too chunky for my taste. But the palette nevertheless contains 2 of my favorite colors. The second and forth color in the top row. The lipglosses are again not that pigmented but the two bottom shades are kinf of pretty. Even though I don't really reach for the glosses in theses palettes that often. Again I love the blush it is a bright pink with very subtle gold shimmer.

Glamour to go Fairy Edition

Diese Palette ist relativ aktuell bei mir eingezogen und komm in der Favoritenrangliste an zweiter Stelle. Schön finde ich, dass zur Abwechslung auch mal 2 matte Farben enthalten sind. Die erste und dritte oben. In den anderen Paletten sind zwar auch Lidschatten mit weniger Schimmer enthalten, ganz matte Lidschatten gibt es da jedoch nicht. Die Qualität der Lidschatten in dieser Palette kommt mir einen tick besser vor als in der Glamour to go II und auf jeden Fall besser, wie die meisten Lidschatten in der IIIer Palette. Besonders gut gefällt mir hier das Schwarz mit goldenem Schimmer. Auch in dieser Palette ist die Schublade ein Highlight. Der Blush (La vie en rose) ist ein knalliges jedoch tragbares mattes pink, der Lipgloss ist ebenfalls tragbar und sehr natürlich. Eine Abwechslung ist auch der Bronzer (Sun Bunny)

This is my second favorite Palette. I thing that Too Faced improved the Quality of the eyeshadows a little in this palette. They are for sure better than the one in the III Palette and also a little better than most out of the II palette. I also enjoy that they finally included 2 matte shades (first and third in the top row). One of my favorite color in this palete is the black with gold shimmer. Again I really enjoy products in the little drawer. This time they only included one lipgloss and instead of the other 3 lipglosses a bronzer in Sun Bunny. The Blush is also really great it is a bright hot pink (matte) in the color La vie en rose. It is really pretty! The lipgloss is also really wearable.

Der Blush aus Palette III und Fairy Edition sind sich recht ähnlich, jedoch ist der aus der Fairy Edition matt und etwas intensiver pink.

Here are the blushes in comparison. The pink blushes from III and Fairy Edition look pretty similar except that the fairy edition blush is matte and a little brighter.

Smashbox

Smashbox wurde 1996 von zwei Brüdern Dean und Davis Factor in den USA gegründet. Ursprünglich hatten die Brüder ein Foto-Studio. Durch diverse anfragen nach Foto-Shooting tauglichem Make-Up kam dann die Idee der eigenen Kosmetikmarke. Die Marke wird seit kurzem auch bei uns über QVC verkauft. Sie zählt eher zur High-end Kosmetik. Das wohl bekannteste Produkt von Smashbox ist ihr Photo Finish Foundation Primer (den seht ihr rechts oben im Foto als Probegröße). Mein Lieblingsprodukt von Smashbox sind eindeutig die Blushes dicht gefolgt von den Lipglossen. :)

Smashbox was founded in 1996 in the US from the brothers Dean and Davis Factor. They originally owned a photo-studio but after several inquires to come up with make-up for professional photo-shooting they founded the Smashbox cosmetic brand. They are more towards the High-End side. Their most famous product is prbably their Photo Finish Foundation Primer. My favorite products from them are their blushes and their lipglosses.

Hier sehr ihr meine Smashbox Blushes. Ganz links oben ist ein Blush, der in der Mother of Earth Palette dabei war. Ein tolles Peach. Daneben ist eine Cheek Palette namens Close-Up. Leider stehen darauf nicht die Namen der einzelnen Farben. Lustigerweise ähneln sie aber relativ stark den einzelnen Blushes, die ich von Smashbox habe. In der unteren Reihe seht ihr zuerst das Soft Lights Blush Duo in Haute/Couture, daneben dann die Blushes Proof Sheet, Aperature und Smashing Snap. In den Einzelnen Blushes sind jeweils 3,8g enthalten, Kostenpunkt $24. Die Blushes sind alle matt oder Satin Finish bis auf das Duo, das ist frost bzw. schimmernd. Die Blushes haben eine tolle Pigmentierung und halten den ganzen Tag! Eine meiner absoluten Lieblingsblushes :)

Here are my blushes by Smashbox. The first one is the one from the Mother of Earth palette it's a really nice Peach. Next to it is a Blush Palette called Close-Up. I don't know the names of the blushes in this palette. But they look a lot like the single blushes I have from Smashbox ;)

Next comes the Soft Lights Blush Duo in Haute/Couture. They the single blushes in Proof sheet, Aperature and Smashing Snap. The single ones are 3.8g and cost $24. All blushes are matte or satin finish unless the Duo which has frost / shimmer. The blushes have a great pigmentation and last all they. They are one of my favorite blushes all time.

Mother Earth Palette, Close-Up Palette, Soft Lights Blush Duo in Haute/Couture mixed, 2x Soft Lights Blush Duo in Haute/Couture Single, Proof Sheet, Aperature, Smashing Snap

An Lippenprodukten habe ich 4 Lipliner und einen Lipgloss. Die Lipliner sind gut, aber es gibt sicherlich vergleichbar gute von anderen Marken. Den Lipgloss finde ich da schon eher erwähnenswert. Er hatte eine tolle Textur und hält recht lange. Die Farbe Protege ähnelt übrigens ein bisschen dem Viva Glam V Gloss.

I own 4 of their lipliners they are good but there or other brands with a similar quality. I much rather talk about their lipgloss because they are really good! They feel good on the lips and last pretty well. I won the color Protege which looks a little like Viva Glam V Gloss.

Smashing Outline, Smashing Define, Cafe Latte, Smashing Muse und den Lip Enhancing Gloss in Protege

An Augenprodukten besitze ich zwei Lidschattenpaletten die bereits erwähnte Mother of Earth Palette sowie die MUSE Artist Eye Palette. Die Qualität ist sehr unterschiedliche. Die Lidschatten in der Muse Palette sind super weich und sehr gut pigmentiert, leider bröseln sie etwas. Die Lidschatten in der Mother of Earth Palette bröseln nicht, sind dafür aber auch nicht so schön weich und die Farbabgabe ist Mittel. Die einzelnen Lidschatten von Smashbox sind quasi ein Mittelding. Nicht zu weich, nicht zu hart, gut pigmentiert und sie krümelt nicht. Ich habe nur eine Farbe davon (Enchanted), da ich jedoch schon so eine ähnliche Farbe habe, verkaufe ich diese. Außerdem besitze ich noch die Eye Liner Palette, ein Eye Illusion Trio und einen Cream Eyeshadow Liner in der Farbe Fan Club, den ich euch auch schon mal hier vorgestellt hatte.

I own two eyeshadow Palettes the Mother of Earth Palette and the MUSE Artist Eye Palette. Their qulity is rather different. The shadows in the MUSE Palette are super soft and pigmented but they also crumble. The Mother of Earth eyeshadows are not as soft only moderately pigmented but they don't crumble. Their single eye shadows are a whole nother story. They are right in the middle not too soft and not too hard, they don't crumble and they are decently pigmented. I only own one of them (Enchanted) but since I already have a similar shadow in that color I'm going to sell that one. Other than that I own a Liner Palette, a cream shadow liner and a trio in eye illusion.

Ähnlich dem Eye Transformer von Elf. Kann man einzeln oder über anderen Lidschatten verwenden um die Farbe zu verändern.

It's a lot like the Eye Transformer from Elf. You can use it by itself or on top of other shadows to change their color.

Swatches Liner, Shadow Liners:

Die Idee mit der kleinen Visitenkarten großen Palette ist toll, leider sind die Liner nicht so der Hit. Wohingegen der Shadow Liner in der Farbe Fan Club zu meinen Favoriten gehört!

I like the idea of the small creditcard sized Palette with cream eyeliners in it. But the liners are really not that great. I much more love the Cream Shadow Liner in Fan Club!

Außerdem besitze ich das Augenbrauenpuder und eine Probe vom Primer. Ich mag das Augenbrauenpuder gerne, finde es jedoch für die kleine Menge zu teuer. Ich bin kein großer Primer-Fan und benutze sie nur ganz selten, weil ich das Silikon-Gefühl nicht so gerne mag, daher kann ich dazu nicht soviel sagen.

I also own the brow powder which I already showed you guys here. I like it a lot but I think it is too pricy for the small amout of product you get. I can't really say too much about the Primer sample I have. I am not so much into Primers because I don't like the silicon feeling of them.

Do you like this kind of post? Should I intruduce more Cosmetic Brands like this by showing which products I own from them and what I think about them?! Let me know!

Sleek Haul

Vor einer ganzen Weile hatte Sleek mal eine 50% Aktion auf alles. Leider ging meine Bestellung damals aus technischen Gründen nicht durch. :( Ich hatte die Enttäuschung eigentlich schon fast vergessen, als ich vor ein paar Tagen eine E-mail von Sleek bekommen habe. Sie haben sich nett entschuldigt und mir einen neuen 50% Code geschickt. Das kam zwar spät, aber immerhin :)

Also habe ich eine kleine Großbestellung aufgegeben (nicht nur für mich, sondern auch noch für zwei Freundinnen). Das Ganze hat sich also im Endeffekt richtig gelohnt :) Das Porto ist zwar mit 9€ ziemlich teuer, aber zu dritt geteilt, kann man sich nicht beschweren.

Da ich schon einige der bekannten Lidschattenpaletten und Blushes habe, konnte ich mich diesbezüglich zurückhalten ;)

Sleek had a 50% sale a while ago. Unfortunately my order didn't went through out of technical reasons back then :( I had almost forgotten about this disappointment when I got an E-mail from Sleek a week ago. They apologized and sent me a new Coupon :)

Me and two friends made a big order. Shipping to Germany is pretty expensive (9€) but since three people made this order it was not so bad for each of us.

Since I already have some of the famous eyehshadow palettes as well as their great blushes I didn't get anymore of theses...

Letztendlich habe ich mich für das ONE Finishing Powder (4,50€ statt 9€), den Glisten Me Flüssighighlighter in Empress (ca. 4€ statt 8€), sowie ein Pout Polish in der Farbe Powder Pink (3,5€ statt 7€) entschieden.

Wenn ihr an Reviews interessiert seit, lasse es mich wissen. :)

I thus ended up getting the ONE Finishing Powder, the Glisten Me liquid highlighter in Empress as well as a Pout Polish in Powder Pink. I saved about 12€ which is quite a nice deal.

Ich habe mir vor einiger Zeit bei Asos die Jemma Kidd Make up School Essentials Palette bestellt und möchte sie euch heute mal zeigen.

Es ist eine tolle Alltagspalette, die sich auch für Business Looks etc. toll eignet. Man kann jedoch auch ein Abendlook daraus zaubern.

I recently purchased the Jemma Kidd Make up School Essentials Palette from Asos.

It's a great everyday palette that includes perfect products to create a business / work make-up. But you can of course create more dramatic looks with this palette as well. It includes the following products...

Die meisten Lidschatten aus der Palette sind aus den Augenfarbe-spezifischen Lidschatten Quads von Jemma Kidd. Eine Produkte sind exclusive nur in der Palette enthalten.

Darüber hinaus sind in der Palette zwei doppelseitige Pinsel enthalten, die eine überraschend gute Qualität aufweisen (2 Lidschattenpinsel, ein Eyelinerpinsel und eine Art Blenderpinsel)

Im Deckel ist noch ein großer Spiegel.

Mit der Palette kam ebenfalls noch eine kleine Anleitung, wie man am Besten den Lidschatten aufträgt, diese Anleitung ist jedoch allgemein gehalten und bezieht sich nicht explizit auf die in der Palette enthaltenen Farben.

Most products are from already existing Jemma Kidd Quads only 3 are exclusive to this palette.

The Palette also contains 2 double-ended brushes which are surprisingly good. You get 2 eye shadow brushes, a liner brush and a blending brush.

The palette also has a big mirror inside the lid. It comes with a little card which explains how to apply the eye shadows.

Am besten gefallen mir Lidschatten 3 (Taupe),4 (Cream) und 5 (Dark Brown). Das Lip und Cheek Flush hat eine extrem tolle und frische Farbe. Bei dem Lipgloss in Tea Rose hatte ich erst befürchtet, dass er etwas zu dunkel sein könnte, wie ihr an dem Bild erkennen könnt gibt er jedoch nur einen stain, ist also relativ sheer und kann bedenkenlos auch von helleren Personen getragen werden. Die dunkelste Farbe (charcoal) ist kein tiefes schwarz, sondern eher ein rauchiges grau/schwarz mit feinen silberen Glitzerpartikeln (der einzige Lidschatten aus der Palette, der Glitzer enthält, die anderen sind entweder matt (dark brown), schimmernd (cream, taupe) oder frostig (white)). Für einige mag es enttäuschend sein, dass die Farbe (selbst bei nasser Anwendung kein tiefes schwarz ist, da ich wie gesagt eher ein heller Typ bin, stört mich das nicht, da tiefes schwarz bei mir schnell zu extrem wirken kann.

I enjoy the eye shadows (Taupe),4 (Cream) und 5 (Dark Brown) the most.

I love the lip and cheek flush because it comes in a very fresh color.

I first thought the lipgloss in Tea Rose might be to dark for my light complexion but it actually is rather sheer and more like a stain.

The darkest color in the palette (charcoal) is the only one which contains fine glitter, the others are either matte (dark brown), shimmery (taupe, cream) or frost (white).

The charcoal is more of a smokey grey-black than a true black. Some might be disappointed about that but since I am rather fair the grey-black looks less extreme on me.
