Revlon Colorstay Quad in Lavender Meadow

Ich habe euch ja schon einige der Revlon Colorstay Quads auf meinem Blog vorgestellt (z.B. hier und hier). Ich bin immer noch von den Quads begeistert und möchte euch heute mein neustes Quad zeigen. Dieses Quad heißt Lavender Meadow. Enthalten ist ein helles Rosa, ein Fliederton, ein pastell Mintton und ein dunkler Lila- /Mauveton. Alle Farben haben ein leichtes Frostfinish. Ich finde die Lidschatten in dieser Palette alle samt gut tragbar vor allem für Leute die ein bisschen Farbe im AMU wollen, aber nicht gleich zu richtig intensiven Farben greifen wollen.

I already showed you some of the Revlon Colorstay Quads on my blog here and here. I still enjoy these a lot and I also recently got a new Quad in Lavender Meadow. The colors are really wearable since they are all soft rather than right in your face. The is a soft pink, a lilac, a pastel mint and a darker mauvey purple.

Frühlings-Look

Bei dem tollen Wetter hatte ich mal Lust auf einen Frühlings-Look.

Verwendet habe ich hierzu zunächst einmal die Primer Potion. Dann habe ich den obersten Grau/Fliederton (eine Farbe, die ich sehr gerne mag) aus dem Revlon Quad "Sultry Smoke" auf das gesamte Lid aufgetragen.

Aus dem Elf Quad "Silver Lining" habe ich die hellste Farbe als inneren Highlighter im Augenwinkel verwendet. Der dunkelste Ton (dritter), wurde vor allem im äußeren Augenwinkel verwendet und leicht in die Augenfalte sowie leicht unterhalb des Auges geblendet. Die Farbe wirkt im Quad grau, auf dem Auge erkennt man jedoch auch blau/ dunkel lila Einschläge in der Farbe.Mascara drauf und fertig :)

Today I felt in the mood for a spring-look.

It's really easy and I mainly use drugstore products. I start by applying my Primer Potion. Next I take the lightest color out of the Revlon Quad "Sultry Smoke" and apply it all over the lid. This is a really nice grayish lilac. I then use the lightest color of the Elf quad in "Silver Lining" for the inner corner highlight. The darkest color from that same Elf quad is used in the outer corner of the eye and blended a little underneath the eye as well as in the crease. This color looks grey in the quad but applied you see blue and purple undertones. I complete the look with mascara and that's it.

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick

Die Revlon Colorburst Lippenstifte sind dafür bekannt, dass sie eine sehr hohe Deckkraft haben.

Sie sind zudem schön cremig und auch von außen nett anzusehen. Praktisch finde ich an der Verpackung auch, dass der Deckel in der entsprechenden Lippenstiftfarbe markiert ist, so findet man schneller, was man sucht :)

Blush, eine tolle Alltagsfarbe, die die natürliche Lippenfarbe dezent unterstreicht

Rosy Nude eine etwas dunklere und farbintensivere Version von Rosy Nude, bei meinem hellen Teint schon eher was für Abends.

Mein Favorit ist ganz eindeutig die Farbe Blush.

Colorburst lipsticks are known for their great pigmentation. They are creamy in texture and I really like their packaging. In particular I enjoy that the top of the lipstick tube is colored in the lipstick color :)

Soft nude a peachy nude tone

Blush (My favorite) a really nice daytime lipstick which accentuates the natural lipcolor

Rosy Nude is a deeper version of Blush and with my fair complexion I tend to use it more at night.

Revlon Colorstay Quad in Sultry Smoke

Ich hatte *hier* vor einiger Zeit bereits über die Colorstay Quads von Revlon berichtet.

Mittlerweile habe ich Zuwachs bei den Quads bekommen und da mir das neue Quad in Sultry Smoke so gut gefällt, möchte ich es euch nicht vorenthalten...

Mit dem Set lässt sich ein schönes Blau/Lila Smokey Eye schminken. Für den Alltag greife ich aber auch gerne ausschließlich zu den helleren Tönen.

Insbesondere der erste Farbton hat es mir sehr angetan, da er sehr individuell ist. Es ist eine Art Flieder/Grau, die einen sehr schönen Sheen hat. Auch die zweite Farbe gefällt mir sehr gut. In Farbe sieht auf den ersten Blick wie ein dunkles Marineblau aus, der Sheen ist jedoch eindeutig mehr lila als blau. Auf dem Swatch mit Blitzlicht kommt die Farbe leider gar nicht gut rüber. Die zwei übrigen Farben im Quad sind zwar auch schön und lassen sich vor allem toll mit den anderen beiden kombinieren. Für sich genommen sind die Farben jedoch nichts außergewöhnliches. Die dritte Farbe ist ein grau/silber mit Sheen. Die letzte Farbe ist ein mattes schwarz, das jedoch nur feucht aufgetragen ein tiefschwarz ist, trägt man es trocken auf ist es eher ein smokey/grau/schwarz.

I already reviewed the Colorstay Quads from Revlon here... Since then I got another one which I also enjoy a lot and didn't want you guys to miss out on. It is the quad in the color Sultry Smoke. It is really nice to create a blue/purple smokey eye with. For daytime I also like to only use the lighter colors in the Quad. I like the first color the most because it is a very unique lilac grey tone with a pretty sheen. Also the second color is really pretty. In the pan it looks like a navy blue but once applied it has a beautiful purple sheen. Unfortunately the swatches with flash don't show how pretty this color is. The other two colors in the quad are nice to combine with the first two but on their own the colors are nothing extraordinary. The third color is a grey/silver with sheen and the last color is a matte black which is only a true black when you apply it wet. If you apply it dry it is more of a smokey grey black.

Revlon Illuminance Creme Eye Shadow

Seit längerem besitze ich schon die Illuminance Creme Eye Shadow Palette von Revlon in Seashells, seit neuestem ist jezt noch die Palette in Twilight dazugekommen.

Das habe ich zum Anlass genommen euch das Produkt mal vorzustellen. Wie der Name schon sagt, handelt sich um einen Creme Eye Shadow. Eigentlich bin ich kein großer Fan von cremigen Lidschatten, da sie sich meistens über Tag unschön in der Lidfalte absetzen. Wie viele andere Hersteller behauptet auch Revlon, dass die Creme Eye shadows nicht creasen, was sie jedoch tun. Trotzdem habe ich sie sehr gern gewonnen.

Zunächst einmal sind die Farben sehr schön. Die Quads beinhalten zum Teil sehr schön schimmernde Farben (Jedoch kein Glitzer) und zum Teil fast matte Farben. (Bei dem Seashells Quad ist die 3. und 4. Farbe quasi matt und beim Twilight Quad ist es die 2. Farbe) Es gibt zudem eine ziemlich große Farbauswahl. Die Creme Eye Shadows trocknen auch nicht aus. Das erste Quad habe ich schon über ein Jahr und die Farben sind noch top in Ordnung.

Da ich jedoch trotz der vielen Vorzüge keine Lidschattenstreifen am Ende des Tages auf meinen Augen haben möchte, gehe ich so vor...

Ich benutze zunächst eine Lidschatten Base, dann den Creme Eyeshadow (nicht zu dick) und trage dadrüber "normalen" Lidschatten auf. Also fungieren die Creme Eyeshadows bei mir quasi als Color Base um pudrigem Lidschatten noch ein bisschen mehr Pfiff zu verleihen.

Auf Youtube hat "pinkiecharm" (Sie macht wirklich tolle Reviews) die Creme Eye Shadows von Revlon sogar als günstigere Alternative zu der Creme Color Base von Mac genannt. Dazu kann ich jedoch nichts sagen, da ich keine Creme Color Base von Mac besitze.

Ich bin jedoch mit denen von Revlon sehr zufrieden.

Die Farben im Seashell Quad sind sehr dezent und nicht so stark pigmentiert, wenn ich eine Base benutzt und eine dieser Creme Eyeshadow Farben ganz dünn (nur als dezenten sheen) auftrage, komm ich sogar damit weg keinen puder Lidschatten darüber aufzutragen. Das ist vor allem an den Tagen praktisch, wenn man keine Zeit oder keine Lust hat sich groß Gedanken über sein Augenmakeup zu machen.

Leider sind die Creme Eye Shadow Quads nicht in Deutschland erhältlich. Ich habe meine über Brigette's Boutique erworben, hier kosten sie lediglich $ 5.25.

I really got in to the Revlon Illuminance Creme Eye Shadows. I started with the Seashelly Quad und just recently got the one in Twilight. I wanted to take that as a reason to make a little review about them.

I am usually not a huge fan of creme eye shadows because they just always end up in your crease by the end of the day. Revlon like most other companies claim that their creme eye shadows don't crease, but like all of them they do creme as well.

Why do I still like them then?

Well first of all the colors are really pretty. The Quads contain some creme shadows with a really pretty sheen and other that look almost matt (like the 3rd and 4th one in the seashell quad and the second one in the twilight quad). Revlon also offers a wide range of colors, which I like a lot. The also don't dry out. I had the seashells one for over a year and it is still in a perfect condition and has not changed it consistency.

But aside from all that I still don't want my eye shadows to crease. So that's how I use them...

I start by using a good eyeshadow base, then I apply a thin layer of a creme eye shadow of my choice and then top it with a powdery eye shadow. So basically I use them as a creme color base to give my powdery eyeshadows a boost.

A really good reviewer on youtube "Pinkiecharm" even said that they are a good and cheaper alternative to the mac equivalent the creme color bases. I can't really combare them because I don't own one from Mac, but I am perfectly satisfied with the ones from Revlon.

Since the colors in the seashell quad are rather sheer I can even get away with using only a base and a really thin layer of one of the creme eyeshadow colors from this quad. That's perfect for those days when you are in a hurry and still want some sheen on your eyeas.

Unfortunately they are not sold in Germany, that's why I had to get mine from Brigette's Boutique, where they are sold for $5.25.

Revlon Colorstay 12 Hour Eyeshadow Quad

Lange Zeit stand ich unentschlossen vor den Revlon Colorstay Quads im Müller. Gefallen haben sie mir schon immer gut, aber irgendwie war ich doch zu geizig dafür ca. 16€ auszugeben. ZUM GLÜCK. Denn mittlerweile habe ich eine kleine Kollektion von 3 Quads und habe diese alle für weit aus weniger Geld bei Ebay in den USA oder UK ersteigert. Wenn man die Augen offen hält, kann man ein Quad ab ca. $8 inkl. Porto ersteigern. Die Qualität der Lidschatten ist sehr gut. Ich habe sie bisher noch nicht ohne Base verwendet, aber mit Base halten sie einwandfrei den ganzen Tag und Nacht, wenn es sein muss. Es gibt mittlerweile sehr viele verschiedene Quads, die Farben in einem Quad sind immer aufeinander abgestimmt. Die Farben, die ich bisher gesehen haben, waren alle sehr alltagstauglich. Die meisten sind sehr dezent schimmernd.

Ich besitze die Quads: Spring Moss (Grün Töne), Wildflower (Pastell Töne)und Stonewash denim (Blau Töne).

I just recently got into the Revlon Colorstay Quads-

In Germany you have to pay about 16€ ($20). Which I believe is crazy in comparison to the US or UK prices for this product. That's why I bought mine on ebay where I payed about $8 including shipping to Germany. I own the Quads in Spring Moss (green), Wildflower (pastel) and Stonewash denim (blue). There are a lot more Colorstay Quads from Revlon. The 4 colors in each Quad usually match each other and the Quads I've seen so far included very wearable shades. I also like the quality of the eyeshadows. I have never tried them without a base, but with my eyeshadow base they last all day and night without a problem. Most colors are slightly shimmery.

SWATCHES:
