Nagellacksammlung im Detail

Nachdem ich eine Anfrage bekommen habe meine Nagellacksammlung etwas genauer vorzustellen, hab ich nun eine kleine Bilderflut für euch.

Nagellacksammlung

So, ich wollte euch mal meine "aufgeräumt" bzw. "aussortierte" Nagellacksammlung zeigen. Ich haben mich neulich von ein paar (ca. 10-15) getrennt. Einige ganz alte Exemplare sind in den Müll gewandert, die anderen sind im Kleiderkreisel und oder bei Makeupalley gelandet.

Ich war der Meinung, dass eine Schublade zur Aufbewahrung ausreichen sollte und das war vor meiner Aussortier-Aktion nicht mehr der Fall. Es sind aber wie ich finde immer noch genug ;)

Überwiegend Essie, OPI, China Glaze und Catrice Lacke...

I just cleaned out my nail polish collection. I had way too many and didn't nearly use all of them. I decided that my nail polish collection should fit in one drawer. A few very old ones went into the trash others still in good quality went on my swap item list at Kleiderkreisel (the German version of Makeupalley but also for clothes not just makeup) and / or at Makeupalley.

I believe I still have enough polishes even after I got rid of about 10-15.

I mainly have Essie, OPI, China Glaze and Catrice polishes...

Das Schubladensystem gibt es bei Muji, nicht ganz preiswert, aber ich finde das Design sehr ansprechend und es ist wesentlich stabiler und klemmt nicht so wie die sonstigen Schubladensysteme, die ich bisher hatte.

Für diejenigen von euch, die es interessiert:

In der oberersten Schublade sind Arzeimittel (Von Hustenbonbons bis Vitamin C ist alles dabei).

In der mittleren Schublade sind Backups und Produkte, die ich zum verschenken / verlosen vorgesehen habe.

Ganz unten (allein schon wegen dem Gewicht) sind die Nagellacke.

I got the drawers at Muji. They were kind of pricy but they are a lot prettier and more robust than the less expensive ones I had so far.

For the ones how care:

In the first drawer I keep drugs like cough drops or vitamin C.

In the middle drawer I keep backups and stuff I want to give away.

The last one contains the polishes.

Bei der Aufräumaktion habe ich auch einen alten Nagellack wiederentdeckt, von dem ich mich nicht trennen konnte/wollte. Er ist wirklich schon ein Senior unten meinen Lacken, ich habe ihn irgendwann mal bei Douglas im Sale gekauft. Er ist von Tristano Onofri (falls das irgendjemandem etwas sagt). Ich hatte ihn auch mal in Pink. Das tolle an dem Lack ist, dass er wirklich gut riecht. Das klingt jetzt sicher komisch, aber das ist der einzige Nagellack, den ich kenne, der nicht nach Nagellack riecht. Sowohl beim Auftragen, als auch im getrockneten Zustand, riecht der Nagellack angenehm süßlich. Ich kann mich nicht daran erinnern, dass das bei dem Nagellack damals groß angepriesen oder überhaupt erwähnt wurde, aber ich finde das schon was cooles. Komisch eigentlich, dass da bisher noch nicht mehr Hersteller drauf gekommen sind.

Kennt jemand den Nagellack bzw. hat ihn auch?

Bzw. kennt ihr andere Nagellacke, die diese Eigenschaft haben? Würde mich mal interessieren :)

While I way cleaning out my nail polish I found one old polish I just couldn't get rid of.

It's from Tristano Onofri and I bought it at Douglas a long long time ago. It still works so it didn't really dry out. The great thing about this polish is that it doesn't smell like nail polish it has while you apply it as well as when it is dry a very lovely sweetish scent. It is the only nail polish I know that does not have that distinct nail polish smell. That's why I love this polish so much. I used to have it in a brighter pink as well...

Do you know any nail polishes that don't smell like polishes?

Auf dem Bild trage ich eine Schicht von den Nagellack. Ich finde ihn sogar ganz hübsch ein transparenter Cremeton mit Perlmutt-Schimmer.

H&M Tipp: 9 Paar Ohrstecker für 2,95€

Bei H&M gibt es zur Zeit dieses süße Ohrsteckerset mit 9 paar Ohrringen für gerade mal 2,95€. Sicher nicht die beste Qualität (bei einigen Exemplaren in Geschäft war schon die Farbe etwas abgeblättert). Aber bei diesem Set geht es wohl auch offensichtlich eher um die Abwechslung als um die Qualität. :)

Stila Palette Blanc

Wie einige sicherlich schon gemerkt haben, bin ich ein Freund von Stila Paletten. Ich habe euch von Stila schon die 3 Agate Paletten vorgestellt, die Scarlett's Deluxe Palette sowie die Noire Palette.

Die Blanc Palette ist quasi das Gegenstück zur Noire Palette.

In der Blanc Palette sind enthalten 3 Lidschatten und 1 Blush:

Bouquet: Ein mattes Peach-Rosé-Cream

Jezebel: Ein schimmerndes Kupfer

Twig: Ein schimmerndes Dunkelbraun mit dezentem Weinrot Einschlag

Coral Blush WOW Wie der Name schon sagt Coral mit leichtem Grob-Schimmer

Der Preis normalerweise kosten Stila Einzellidschatten (Refills) $18, ebenso der Blush. Die Leerpalette für 4 Lidschatten kostet nochmal $16. Also wären wir insg. bei $88. Was meiner Meinung nach TOTAL übertrieben ist. Die fertig zusammengestellten Paletten, wie diese hier, werden jedoch "nur" für $32 verkauft. Bei Brigette's Boutique, habe ich sie für schlappe $12,50 gekauft. Dank des neuen Reward Systems von dem Onlineshop Brigitte's Boutique habe ich nur $2,50 plus Porto gezahlt :)

So ein Reward System finde ich übrigens eine tolle Idee: bei jedem Einkauf kann man entsprechend des Einkaufswerts Punkte sammeln, die man dann in Gutscheine eintauschen kann (100 Punkte = $10 Gutschein). Da das System so angelegt wurde, dass auch die bisher getätigten Einkäufe noch nachträglich berücksichtigt wurden, hatte ich mal ebenso einen $10 Gutschein.

So zurück zu den Lidschatten und dem Blush.

Von Bouquet war ich etwas enttäuscht. Die Farbe sieht wirklich toll aus, nur leider ist die Pigmentierung hier sehr schwach gewesen. Deshalb habe ich diese Farbe auch mal über einer Base geswatched. Aber auch das Ergebnis lässt noch Wünsche offen.

Jezebel, Twig und auch der Blush in Coral haben die gewohnte Stila Qualität- Butterweich und toll zu verblenden.

Die Swatches sprechen für sich.

Zu dem Blush muss ich noch sagen, dass er eine wirklich bombastische Farbe hat, perfekt für den Frühling / Sommer. Einzig der grobe Schimmer (wenn auch nicht viel, aber vorhanden) ist für mich ein Negativpunkt.

Coral Blush WOW Like the name implies it's a really nice coral with slightly chunky shimmer

Normally one Stila eye shadow (Refills) is $18. An empty palette (Quad) is another $16. Buying each item individually would be a total of $88 (which is crazy!). This premade Palette is sold for $32. At Brigette's Boutique, I got it for only $12,50. Thanks to their new Reward System I only had to pay $2,50 plus shipping :)

I think such a Reward System is a great idea. With every purchase you collect points according to the value you spend. If you have collected 100 points you get a $10 coupon. Since their new Reward System also counted the already previously made purchases I had a $10 coupon right away :)

So back to the palette :)

Bouquet is a really pretty color in the pan but its pigmentation disappointed me. I even swatched this one over a base and it still didn't look that great.

Jezebel, Twig and the blush in Coral have the well known Stila quality. They are buttery soft and super easy to blend.

One more thing about the blush. I LOVE the color it is such a stunningly beautiful coral which is perfect for spring and summer but it has somewhat chunky shimmer in it. The ones who have been reading my blog for a while might already know that I am not a big fan of obvious shimmer/glitter particles. A nice sheen is pretty but not glitter.

Essie Neo Whimsical

Heute gibt es dann den passenden Frühlings-Nagellack zum Frühlings-AMU von gestern. ;)

Der Neo Whimsical von Essie ist ein schöner Pastell Flieder-/Rosaton.

Die Farbe finde ich schön, vor allem jetzt im Frühling. Leider ist dies jedoch einer dieser Essie Lacke, die es einem sehr schwer machen, dass man sie mag. Der erste Auftrag ist extrem streifig! Der zweite sieht dann schon besser aus, wobei das die bessere Hand von beiden ist. Auf der anderen Hand, sieht man auch noch nach dem zweiten Auftrag hie und da Steifen :(

Eines muss man dem Lack jedoch lassen, er hält relativ lange und sieht dabei aus wie am ersten Tag.

Was ist euer Lieblings-Frühlingslack?

Today there will be the matching nail polish to the eye make-up from yesterday. The Essie polish in Neo Whimsical is a pretty pastel lilac-pink. It's perfect for spring I'd say :)

Only downside is that this is one of those Essie nail polishes that at first applies extremely streaky. The second coat does look better, but some still don't look so nice (mostly the other hand). But the polish lasts pretty well and looks like freshly painted even a couple of days later :)

Frühlings-Look

Bei dem tollen Wetter hatte ich mal Lust auf einen Frühlings-Look.

Verwendet habe ich hierzu zunächst einmal die Primer Potion. Dann habe ich den obersten Grau/Fliederton (eine Farbe, die ich sehr gerne mag) aus dem Revlon Quad "Sultry Smoke" auf das gesamte Lid aufgetragen.

Aus dem Elf Quad "Silver Lining" habe ich die hellste Farbe als inneren Highlighter im Augenwinkel verwendet. Der dunkelste Ton (dritter), wurde vor allem im äußeren Augenwinkel verwendet und leicht in die Augenfalte sowie leicht unterhalb des Auges geblendet. Die Farbe wirkt im Quad grau, auf dem Auge erkennt man jedoch auch blau/ dunkel lila Einschläge in der Farbe.Mascara drauf und fertig :)

Today I felt in the mood for a spring-look.

It's really easy and I mainly use drugstore products. I start by applying my Primer Potion. Next I take the lightest color out of the Revlon Quad "Sultry Smoke" and apply it all over the lid. This is a really nice grayish lilac. I then use the lightest color of the Elf quad in "Silver Lining" for the inner corner highlight. The darkest color from that same Elf quad is used in the outer corner of the eye and blended a little underneath the eye as well as in the crease. This color looks grey in the quad but applied you see blue and purple undertones. I complete the look with mascara and that's it.
